That's awesome! I hope you have a good time in Japan. And dramas will do you good I suppose- since you can be more acquainted with their culture. I envy you. I've always wanted to visit Japan but never got the chance!

I do like romantic comedies but watching them all the time gets boring.

I really haven't decided what to watch next. I am still watching Code Blue and To the Beautiful You.
By the way, what did you think of the first episode of Innocent Man? Its story sounds good. I suppose if they write it well and since the actors are good anyway, it could be something as good as Love Rain.

I am not completely against anime expressions but it largely depends on the actor who does it. If the actors are funny without being annoying I can definitely enjoy it. And since you (and lots of others) speak so highly about Nodame, I believe it is a drama that should be watched in free time to appreciate it more. Is it so?

I like dramas with good plots. I enjoy romance, comedy, mystery, or historic. Basically anything which might be interesting and entertaining. I don't have any particular genre that I prefer.

I could try it out in the future, maybe. But for now my hands are full with to-watch dramas.
BTW I finished Liar Game. I loved it a lot. The show actually made good sense in the end. Just some patience was required to get through a few parts. I will definitely watch season 2 and the the movie! :D

I daresay your list seems to be completely in favor of Japanese dramas. May I ask why is it that you have zero Taiwanese and Korean dramas in your list? LOL.

There were a lot of good moments in their friendship. I love all those guys. They just sound like real people and not just a bunch of fictional characters.

Yes, it was pretty realistic. It wasn't really necessary that they had to continue being a band. They just grew up and explored their own interests. :)

Gentleman's Dignity is a bit mature for my taste. And I have still not acquired a liking for dramas with characters over the age of 40s. Haha.
I am still watching Code Blue and Liar Game currently.

I don't have a problem with high school dramas but those anime expressions must be kept to a minimum according to me. One such drama I nearly dropped was Ouran High School Club Host. The jokes were fresh and original but there was a character Tamaki who was annoying to the limits. I prefer to stay away from such dramas since then. So I might not watch Switch Girl either.

I see that you've dropped Switch Girl. Is it that bad? I thought it sounds rather fun. :-\
I've never seen a drama with more than 25 episodes. I am not sure if 28 hours of my life would be worth it or…
I might try it then! :)

I don't have one favorite. There are many that I loved. The best ones according to me are:
Shut Up Flower Boy Band, Sungkyunwan Scandal, You're Beautiful, Nobuta wo Produce, Code Blue, Liar Game, 49 Days and Queen In Hyun's Man. :)
But I have seen only 20 dramas so among those, these are the best ones.
