Yeah I think the writer uses those dreams to make their love a fate rather than past lives. The latter would be more complicated and steer away from the current plot, just imo.

Okay I've cooled down after getting vexed at Gilchae throughout episode 7. I recalled from an interview where the writer said "Let's see what the lovers would do/sacrifice for each other". So far Janghyun has done a lot from his end, meaning Gilchae's turn will come very soon. I can't wait to see what Gilchae is capable of when she finally makes up her mind. I bet her actions would reflect her fierce personality and her intense interpretation of love. We won't be disappointed in the Gilchae we know and adore, guys. For me I just need to teach myself some patience, as I know this drama isn't made to satisfy my own happy bubble, it is to be imprinted in my heart for a very long time.

Yeah I feel like once Gilchae makes up her mind and becomes certain of her love for Janghyun, she'll be an absolutely devoted, fierce and faithful lover as it's her personality. Perhap that's worth my patience haha.
Yeon Jun's awakening is nowhere to be seen as of episode 7. Also his relationship approach is absolute bullshit. He blames his cowardness on Gilchae, seriously? Can I break his neck on behalf of Janghyun?
At a glance this is not a pink-themed episode I kinda wished for. We have a kiss - beautiful and dreamy, but heartwrenching. Frankly I was angsty throughout the episode so the kiss was not enough to makeup for it, it's more like a candy-glazed bullet to my heart lol. What would satisfy me is for Janghyun to CLAIM EVERYTHING he's done for Gilchae. But he didn't, the man even saved himself after falling off the hill wounded and sick. He couldn't confess to Gilchae that he saved her because he's embarrassed. It's high time for Gilchae to finally wake up, and stop attaching Janghyun with a playboy image already! Geez I'm Gilchae's stan but she said that too many times!

Another factor gets in the way is the Asian Games. Even if the crew decides to air the show continuously after episode 10, there'll still be interruptions. I think the crew was smart dividing this into 2 parts. This makes the wait "intentional" and thus gains more hype from the viewers while not harming the rating as much.

Yeah that's the scandal I thought of. I don't really care about it (you know nothing will stop me from hyping this drama LOL), but I mentioned anyways cuz I guess it might be one of OP's reasons of debating on watching.

tbh it's a great watch if you can get pass her personal scandal. After episode 4, many koreans I know no longer let the scandal interfere as they think this drama is exciting beyond that.
