In the start of the manhwa, Geum Seong thinks Hyeseong is trying to drown himself and “saves him”. Hyeseong at the time was wearing female underclothes and not a full outfit. Geum Seong notices Hyeseong is a man when he pulls him out of the water. He doesn’t mention this until much later. He married him regardless. In the chapter where Hyeseong finds out that Geum Seong knew already he said to Hyeseong, "We might have gotten married because of our parents but we're now contracted to be together for the rest of our lives. Meaning, it doesn't matter to me that you're not a woman. I swore my love to you to the heavens, which means I had accepted you as my wife and my lover until the day we die." In the series they switch it up by making Hyeseong go swimming and Geum Seong, like in the manhwa, thinks he his drowning himself but the change is that Geum Seong is the one needing to be saved, removing the part in the original plot where he would have discovered Hyeseong’s gender.
I just saw the preview for ep 11 and it looks like Geum Seong's reaction is completely different than in the manhwa. I wonder how they're going to resolve this in the series.
