oh my gosh, it’s like you wrote my thoughts. that’s exactly how I feel. I really don’t think there will be any cheating from FL. I’ve seen cheating in Japanese dramas, but never in a Korean drama (I refer to cheating from one of the main leads). So I really doubt it the writers will go there. You are absolutely right. the cheating will definitely ruin of all Moeun relationships. Johan really doesn’t deserve that. I really like his character and almost cried myself during the song scene. that song he composed was beautiful and heartbreaking. this drama is a true masterpiece until now. and I really really want a hea. they are made for eachother. she understands him so well :((

The waiting for the next two episodes will kill me. I knew I should’ve waited until this drama is over and watch then. But I loved it so much and I was so curious 😭

I never understood Moeun to be his first love. I thought they were always childhood friends and he only realized his feelings for her because she started seeing someone else. From what her parents said, Jinwoo is actually her first boyfriend. So maybe her best friend was always comfortable with the fact that she was always single and involved in his life. so her being with someone came as a shock to him. but yeah, him just getting out of a relationship and crying over his ex, and then having feelings for M. feels very unrealistic and frustrating…

now that I think about it, i’ve never seen actual cheating as a reason for the third act breakup in a kdrama. yes, there is the cheating trope that leads to the revenge one. but in Korean dramas (compared to Japanese ones) there’s no cheating between the main leads. like never. I’ve watched a lot of Kdramas but never seen such a thing.

it’s still not fully explained yet. we have to wait for more details. but from what I understood is that she ran away because she had a stalker and was really going through a hard time.

I have the same thoughts as you. The way they portrayed the main couple, it is very unlikely for either them to cheat. Not even dead drunk I would imagine this FL doing something like that. maybe her friend will kiss her or something. without her consent. but no more than that. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. something will definitely happen to cause a third act breakup. Like you said, I hope they don’t butcher up this masterpiece right before it ends.

I’m so heartbroken right now. I have only seen him in Parasite and My Mister, but his performance in MM was enough for me to see him as my favorite Korean actor forever. I was very hopeful yesterday when I saw he requested a polygraph test. I was thinking his ordeal will come to an end and his blackmailers will finally be brought to justice and stopped. I don’t care if he ever cheated (that’s between him and his wife to resolve) or if he took drugs. We all make mistakes. I’m just very sorry he didn’t see a way out. His kids and wife will forever be affected by this.
