I watched this not expecting much because I really loved Victor Ma as Sang Yan in HL, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the drama. Bai Jing Ting became Sang Yan from the novel, which I read before watching the drama. Then I realized, the Sang Yan from TFF is slightly different from the Sang Yan you see in HL (both series and novel). The whole Hong Kong arc was unnecessary in my opinion, because I felt the novel had plenty of drama by itself (and I felt it messed up the timeline with HL), but meh, it is a novel adaptation at the end of the day, and even though I thought it was unnecessary, it worked somewhat for extra drama I guess. Overall, I enjoyed it.
But sometimes fast paced romance make you jump off your chair while watching it, like Forever and Ever...ML literally…
Yeah, but in Love Me Love my voice, they may have been a couple since ep8 but don't kiss until ep19 (!?!?) putting a spoiler in case somebody here has not seen that one.
this is not going to happen she will again reach out him
I haven't seen that clip yet, but saw the one where Gu Xu sees the hug. I guess they need to fix the misunderstanding somehow because I read that on ep 19 they kiss for the first time. π
Let me tell you this drama has 24 episodes in total and we are in episode 17 and no kisses. We just got a hug…
Well, in Love me, Love my Voice, the main couple become an official couple in ep 8 but don't kiss until ep 19... so... I mean, realistically speaking they would have at least share a kiss or two way earlier than that. Talk about a slow burn.

No, this proposal scene is not in the novel. It was added to the drama. Su Zheng was interested in Qialing, but backtracked when Gu Xun tells him she spent the night at his place when Su Zheng couldn't reached her at her phone because, in the novel, she left her phone inside her apartment when she got locked out. Then everybody at work starts to assume they are a couple before they are an actual couple. In the novel they become a couple like this: they just kissed and boom they are a couple. It was actually quite funny because she is like "oh, ok!"

I usually Google the name of the novel or series and add the word novel to see if it is available in English :)
