Moon lovers wasn't a hit in the US, what are you talking about?There isn't any Korean drama that is a popular hit in the US except for squid games which was a global hit. Even Parasite wasn't a hit in the US. Many Americans don't even watch kdramas how much more know what Moon Lovers is. Kdramas are definitely popular globally, but they are still a niche in lots of countries especially in the west.They are definitely still a niche in America..

For me it was goblin ,i just couldn't like or get into that drama . I actually tried so hard to watch it properly but i just kept getting bored, fast forwarding through scenes and didn't understand the hype. Till today i still don't understand the hype. maybe a second watch or try will change my mind.

Some SJ fans sent death threats to the writer when the show was airing ,thats how serious they took Seojun's heartbreak. We are not mad ,why would we be ? I'm happy with Suho and Jk,but some SJ fans acted unhinged and kept giving the same reasons you are giving.

If you want a serious drama with Cha Eunwoo ,watch Wonderful World ,it's out on Disney and just finished airing.It is a very serious dark melodrama/thriller and very well done .

She never had any romantic feelings for him, not a spark. Very disappointing to see females blatantly disrespect another woman's choice, while chanting and paying lip service to feminism, claiming to hate her bullies while bullying her for choosing Suho,saying Suho got love only because of his looks,while hyperventilating over SJ's bad boy cuteness and posting videos of his semi nude okidokiyo dance .....it was both hilarious and gross .

Even up till the last 3 episodes some Sj fans were calling for the director to change the script and have SJ date JK.They poured so much hate on Suho and later on JK, it was disgraceful, They even sent the script writer death threats on instagram.The script writer later commented that she didn't know people would react so negatively.

When will SJ fans make peace with her choice? It doesn't matter if SJ did a million and one things for her( he didn't ) Suho is who she loved ,even after 2 yrs of his absence. Suho was the person she felt comfortable telling her deepest secrets and her insecurities. She never loved SJ,She never confided anything deep to SJ.
Congratulating him for not taking advantage of a drunk girl is a low bar. I'm appalled when women say such things, when it should be the standard. Sj had no business falling in love with his friend's girlfriend ,he knew SH and JK liked each other from the get go and the only reason he started getting friendly with JK was to spite Suho. And that's the guy you think is some sort of super hero?
Suho came to her house and her job to look for her after he returned, because she ran off from the hospital and he also still had feelings for her(they both did). It happened within a day not weeks or months as some of you would love to paint him as a stalker,plus she was his ex girlfriend and he was familiar with her family and home,not a stranger he just met.
People act like SJ gave up something for her, when the truth is he had no choice but to face reality. With or without his actions Suho and JK would have still gotten back together because that's how deep their feelings were.
All in all they were teenagers and they were all bound to make mistakes and do crazy stuff.
Suho and JK belong together and most importantly we should respect her choice .
3 yrs on Sj fans still crying on twitter over their heartbreak......it's so delicious to witness.

1.Why are you getting so upset and what are you really fighting over? Reality is that no one person ever carries a show or else what's the point having other actors in it? Just give them a script and have the camera with one person talking to themselves for 14 hrs. ...even you would die of boredom.

2.Telling someone not to respond on an open public forum is quite frankly childish at best and haughty, rude and dictatorial at worst. It's saying my opinion is god level and mere mortals must not challenge it.It is a public forum, people are free to respond. The entire point of this site and what drives traffic are the robust discussions we have about dramas we love or hate.

3.Korean netizens said pairing a veteran actress heavyweight with a super popular idol was a great strategy to boost a drama. Disney bought the drama for $60 million ,a Director said that was Cha Eunwoo's influence because he has a global fanbase.There's more foreign funding for Kdramas unlike in the past and the Director went on to say foreign streaming platforms like Disney, Netflix prefer to fund dramas with popular male actors than actresses because male actors/idols have a wider global reach and more dedicated fans than females.

4.Yes Koreans tuned in for KNJ she is good ,likewise lots of foreign fans tuned in for CEW. Personally i didn't even know KNJ and only tuned in for him, although i also really enjoyed her character .
5. Calling people ignorant, lacking in taste and discernment, referring to CEW as "the person" is giving CEW hater vibes.Y'all can't help yourselves no matter how you try to mask it. Funny thing is KNJ spoke very highly of
him.
