hehe, dramas don`t fit there at all. I discovered them only last year. I started with Iljimae just out of curiosity because I knew Lee Jun-Ki from The King and the Clown, and I got addicted. I watched that drama in 3 days. And then I was curious if other dramas are so addictive as well so I tried some more. It was time when school was not so demanding. When final exams time came, I stopped watching. So I watch only when I have more or less "free-time". But I have to admit, sometimes it really is interfering with studying. So I try to avoid it whed I know I can`t afford to lose so much time. If you look at my list, you`ll I watched much much less dramas than usually people did. Alhough from my perpective it is already quite a lot :-D
What is your first language and the one from bilingual school?

Yes, I had been preparing for 2 years before entrance tests. But other students usually prepare for a year. It was longer for me because my high school was a bit different from others - it was bilingual school and we had different curriculum from usual schools, different system. Some things necessary for entrance exams we didn`t study but we had something else instead. So I had to catch up the usual stuff. I arranged extra lessons in some private center specialized for tutorage (I am not sure if I`m saying this right), there were teachers from the faculty I wished to attend, so they taught us exactly what we needed, according to test book published by the faculty. Quite costly all of that :-/
For some students such extra lessons aren`t necessary as long as they are hardworking themselves. But it is generally recommended. And it really helped me a lot.

but for bearing that at least a bit of devotion is necessary. If it is not your desire to do that it will show sooner or later. I think children should not be influenced by their parents` abitions even for good intentions. I can my classmates who are not that into that how are they really annoyed when it comes to study or inspect the patient or go to practice. This is from their perspective. But I see even another problem. With their lax approach to study, even reluctance, how they can be once good doctors to their patients. I for myself am almost horrified by the thought that I would go to doctor like that.
So if you thik it`s not for you, trust you instinct. Find something you really like, because you will probably stick to it for all your life. It`s totally up to you. I hope I helped. But perhaps you could consult with school counselor or something like that. He will certainly help :)

I went to medicine because it wa my lifelong dream. It always was the path of my choice because I always was and now after five years of study I still am fascinated by the way body works and fails to work and can be treated back to health. I never had any doubts before entering the school. Then the hard work came and crisis with this and I questionned my desicion but I stood on it exactly because of what I said above. I can`t imagine anything else.
But there are many students at my school and I see those who were more or less "forced" there. Maybe "forced" is not the right word. Maybe "persuaded" is better. And there are people who came willingly but their interest faded or was never really there and they came "just like that". And it is very visible thing. The study is really hard. For just remembering facts you need plenty of patience and sitting on the buttocks, but
Please if you succeed, let us know where. I would love to watch it, too.

Yes, medicine it is :-)So now I am using this break between practice and school year to watch dramas that had to wait before. Like friday when I finished Princess` man. wow. and now I am going to devote myself to Ojakgyo brother just to fill the gap between the days when Gaksital gets finally out. Somehow I just feel the urge to watch more of Joo Won since there are only two eps of Gaksital a week. I guess these are withdrawal symptoms :-P
I like science a lot. I had scientific focus at my high school too and (as weird as it sounds) it was very pleasant. Good teachers, goodd classmates and interesting topics. LOL Would you like to some research in the future or teach perhaps?

Oh, sorry, I have read your message, but I have left reply for later and then I totally forgot. I had a month of a practice in a hospital but now I have holiday so it`s great. What do you study?
This a comment that i stole from Sayers : Why don't you die Shunji? just Die, Die, Die !
I don`t know about that. I sense some intensive latent danger about Shunji. He is smart now. But it is somewhat dimmed by his rage outbursts. If he transformed his rage into cold determination, he would have the potential to be even smarter and veeeery dangerous. Oh my! But I still mourn his former sweet self. He was so adorable at the beginning....
I was very cautious about this drama because I had been aware of all the hype even before watching. I was afraid that it was overrated. And at first I really did not enjoy it. Some two months ago I wached first 20 minutes of ep. 1 and I dropped it. I was disappointed and I thought the female lead was incredibly stupid and awkward. But last week I decided to give this the second chance. Just randomly I scanned through ep. 9 and I got so hooked that I could not stop watching. It was ridiculous. I watched it till the end and then got back to first episodes. I was cursing myself for not giving this a chance before. It is one of the sweetest dramas I ever seen, even despite minor faults. The characters are so lovable. And Jeremy probably became one of my favorite characters of all time. This drama is great to boost the mood. It seriously made my day. I`m grinning even writing this. :-DDD
I usually don't start watching dramas before they are completed because I'm impatient like that. However, this…
Me too, I usually watch complete dramas. But this time I just could not resist. But I regret it now, because the waiting is agony. Seriously, these cliffhangers.. uff. I can`t imagine how impatient I will be till august. Hope it will be worth it, but it looks very promising :-)
i just love it when gu yong ha says 'na gu yong ha daa" hahahah <333
Yes, that is the most adorable thing ever. He is my favorite character of all the dramas I`ve seen (not that they were too many, lol). And his chemistry with Moon Jae Shin is pure bliss. :-)
I have a question: Is this kind of movie with a message that fat people can achieve happiness only AFTER they lose some weight? A lot of movies imply that even fat and ugly people can be happy, but it ususally goes along with some change of appearance (as though it was a condition to happy ending). Quite a cliché. So should I give this a try or does it end in the same predictable way?
