Boston was my favorite character in this entire show. He stayed true to this character through the very end, and refused to be love-bombed into a relationship with Nick. I surely empathize with Nick, but he continuously went after a man that has opposite values in relationships. What the hell did Nick expect to happen?? Boston has always been honest about his sexual preferences, and Nick was unable to respect that and was constantly trying to change him. He retaliated against Boston out of jealousy. Sharing a sex audio of your sex partner is still revenge porn, and Nick was wrong on so many levels.

Boston is one of those people who just doesn’t do monogamy, but he didn’t deserve the revenge porn or the false non-con allegations from Atom. I truly believe that Boston loved Nick, but Boston has desires that cannot be fulfilled by Nick. Nick choosing to leave Boston was in Nick’s best interest, but Boston is not to be blamed.

I may have to give this one another watch now that it is over. If they have plans of adding a 2nd season, I almost wish it is with a completely different friend group. I’m not sure my heart can take any more drama from the current couples.

It would make sense if they said Japanese people are taught not to express their emotions. Communication is learned behavior, but there are some people who genuinely struggle to express themselves.

I’m still struggling with the definition of toxic. People toss that word around about every single imperfect thing in a relationship. Yoh could have left at any time, but he chose to stay because he was benefiting from the relationship. And for me, there is nothing wrong with his decision.

I almost wish they didn’t include that because their age gap is more noticeable after working at the school. I don’t mind the age gap, but I do mind when someone is in a position of power like that (although it is a set-up).

I’m not ready for this brutal time jump that’s about to weasel it’s way into this story….. why can’t we stay in the present and enjoy our leads basking in happiness and hormones.

I’m not sure why writers think that Sky’s rejection justifies Vee’s behavior. If they had Sky lead him on, (which one kiss does not suffice in my eyes) I would be more understanding. I guess some people are just like that.

I agree that the timeline of when Tanada moved in is vague. He mentions “it’s been 3 years since then,” but is he referring to moving in or the contract offer? It seems he just moved in because they never have sex when it rains, and Tanada is worried that he won’t be able to make it that long without it. If this has been going on for 3 years, he should be used to it by now, so I believe this is a new living arrangement…..

They set the stage for this to be dark as hell, and Japan does dark very well. I don’t want this to be a heavily traumatic dark drama for Segasaki. I highly doubt it, but I hope the reason he doesn’t have sex when it rain is some misunderstanding, or stupid reason like he doesn’t want the sheets to get wet in the rain. If it turns out to be something ridiculous, this will be one of my favorite BLs.

This looks like Polish. In a nutshell, they really enjoyed watching the drama, but the subtitles were tricky.

Just because it happens all the time for people who drink doesn’t mean he consented, nor does it give him amnesia. As you stated, Ning would not have slept with Ming sober. He made it clear it was a one night stand, and he didn’t want a repeat performance. Ming took advantage of Ning’s inebriation, to have another taste, in hopes the Doc would change his mind. Doc was planning to sleep with the blonde man, not Ming. This is why the sex was non-consensual and not rape.
