Well done for the actress for making a lot of research before taking this role, shes a very good actress and you can tell by her portrayal. Autism isnt an easy disability to convey on tv and can usually cause only offense towards the community. Im so happy to see that the community complimented her on her acting instead, its definitely a story that can be educational for people who may not know how to handle people with the spectrum. Its a beautiful kdrama which shows that no matter how different you are, you can always succeed in your career.

This is me mostly talking about s2 lol

This goes in the same category as squid game for me. It really is well done and i enjoyed every episode that aired. I cant help but think there will be another season even if the show was technically concluded but also that joker card at the end... if it actually ended then why would they show that and leave the ending so open? Its not a solid ending, even though i actually love the plot that this was all just borderland between life and death, its so clever and i loved that so much. People fighting for their lives for 1 minute...while it felt like an enternity for them. Wow. Jaw dropping.

Hope there will be another season just to solidfy everything again!

Woah. Really. Great amazing kdrama. I don't think I have many complaints except for the fact that they killed off pildo..like WHAT WAS THE REASON SMH. I really enjoyed their love story and it was so beatifully and organically done. They truly fell for each other slowly but surely and you can tell when it starts blossoming into more than just a partnership between two partners. I can't help but feel sorry for jiwoo because she truly lost everyone close to her. She got her revenge but at what cost? I heard there will be a second season but I really don't see what they could possibly do in season 2 because the ending seemed pretty closed and done. But nevertheless, I will be looking forward to it!

Really interesting plot, I really liked it and the pace of the show. Balanced between humor and seriousness very well. I loved the character development even though I felt a bit disappointed about the druggie going back to prison and relapsing, I feel like thats a huge plothole in the show and I was really confused why they just made that happen without ever talking about it again. His development felt really wasted , for most of the show it was him getting better and then he just..chooses to relapse again? Really made me mad, but whatever, not that big of a deal. Its a pretty cool concept and I recommend it.

Can't say much that you wouldn't already know. This is probably one of the best kdramas I watched. This belongs in a category of its own, just god tier actors and acting. Amazing plot and development of characters in such a short amount of time, makes you think how far a human would go for money. Makes me think that theres a possibility that squid game could exist in real life somewhere far away and none of us would know...just wow. Hell of a kdrama. Theres definitely a reason why it blew up! And Im not gonna lie it will make you shed a few tears as well..

Whats so special about it?

Its gotten so popular out of nowhere and I assume its because of its great cast but this kdrama was such a drag and bore throughout most of the episodes. I guess you really have to love these characters to enjoy most of its episodes but I just couldn't bring myself to find anything interesting. I do admit though that at the end of the episodes like the last few episodes roped me in and I really enjoyed it! So I guess I enjoyed their adult years more than when their story spoke about their teen years which was most of the show...I also found the main characters' relationship weird mostly because of when they met she was underage and he was older. I think those two would've remained best if they always stayed as friends and I'm glad they didn't end up together in the end because there was simply no chemistry between them, in my opinion.

2022 WHC fans…get ready for tears

Man…

Where do I even begin this?

I’ve been waiting since 2022 for a season 2. Though as much as I wanted to rate this a 10/10 like I did with season 1, it just simply doesn’t compare. And if im being totally honest, the entirety of these episodes up until episode 8, they were extremely exhausting.

It stressed you out for no reason and just kept getting your hopes up just to squash it down, time and time again. It was fine the first two times it happened but then I realised there was a pattern that kept repeating itself throughout the episodes which was the fight scenes constantly edging you on only to end anti climactic in some sort of way. It’s very obvious that they tried to pack up hundreds of webtoon chapters into one season since a lot of things were rushed and happened all at once. I think they handled it well though, I’m trying to look at this from an unbiased view since this was the most anticipated show for me after waiting for 3 years and I genuinely wasn’t that disappointed. Obviously season 1 and season 2 show completely different stories, and my favourite character—Suho, was left behind in the past which is probably why I ended up enjoying it just a tiny bit less.

But as episodes went on, I grew to like the new characters as well which is what I meant by when I said that I think they did well for packing hunderds of chapters into 1 season. It could’ve been a lot worse and halfassed.

With that being said, I’m gonna say a major spoiler now.

I am so incredibly happy that they showed Suho in the last episode. Awake.

I cannot stress enough how worthy it was to do that. I don’t think I could’ve handled another plotwist where the show ended and Suho remained in coma. The episodes were incredibly exhausting but episode 8 was like an anecdote for that stress and it washed everything away. The feeling of relief, happiness and a feel like something has finally been settled inside my soul. It sounds silly when I talk about fictional characters like this, but this show means a hell of a lot to me.

So to the writers, genuinely, thank you for bringing Suho back.

Now I don’t know if this is actually the end to whc but I wholeheartedly hope not.

The last bit in episode 8 gave me a bit of a hope that a season 3 might be in talks. Although I don’t know how far the webtoon has come but I genuinely wish a season 3 would happen. Because although I’m happy with Suhos brief return, it was too short and I hope to see them again like in season 1 one day.

A virtuous show !!

The first time I saw this K-Drama promoted, I thought it was going to 100% be the type of K-Drama I would skip out on because it primarily centered around middle aged women in the old times, I thought it would be a typical boring telenovela type where unnecessary drama ensued and I wasn’t planning on watching it. But then, a TikTok appeared on my fyp about this show- and the description- I mean wow. Housewives in the time of peak misogyny doing business, and not just any business, but sex toy business?! Oh my. I was SO in.

I have to admit not once through the show was I bored. The funny bits were funny, the sad bits were sad and the romantic bits were romantic and the business part of the show was extremely entertaining!!

I don’t have much to complain about except for the fact that we never got to know what ended up happening to MC’s husband and the best friend (won’t spoil but the lore between them is crazy). Also why they never called out the landladys husband either…

I guess they just wanted to say that some things simply can’t be changed even if it seems unfair. But alas. The show was really great. I recommend it a lot!

Well…

I mean it’s exactly as what’d you’d expect especially if you watched strong woman do bongsoon first.

Personally I found this show pretty entertaining but I felt really sorry for the villain Ryo Shio. I wish they would’ve given him a happy ending honestly.

There isn’t much for me to touch on, I think the show was really silly at times and funny but I guess that’s the genre it is in general.

I think they made nam soon a little too much hyper and quirky and made it a bit cringe.

The cop was cute but compared to Ryo Shio he didn’t seem to have much of a personality…Or maybe I just inevitably choose villains over heroes but!

Overall I actually would LOVE a season 2 because of the cliffhanger at the end. So you’re telling me there’s a guy with the power too? Such a good plotwist.

I would love to meet the new character! However i’m not sure if this show will get renewed but who knows, it only recently ended.

It’s a quirky show really, same premise as the OG, nothing special. But cute and good for keeping you entertained when bored.

Booktok Type Romance

I saw someone in a comment section describe it as that, and they got it spot on. This is the first time I’ve seen a K-Drama show a couple with enough angst, tension, romance, sadness, yearning all in one.

However, the plot was confusing half of the time. They did too many flashback scenes and never really elaborated and relied on the viewers to figure it out for themselves, which isn’t bad per se but they kept piling on information on you that would contradict some of the scenes they’ve shown as a piece of puzzle for you to understand.

I don’t like how some K-Dramas explicitly say what’s going on in the story and it takes a good script writer to show the plot without explicitly saying in words what it is but for this Kdrama it felt like I needed that, since the flashbacks and reveals were all over the place and completely confusing.

Another thing I wanted to complain about was, the ending where they blatantly mentioned Israel and Palestine during their wartime. I feel like so many new Kdramas keep doing this shit where they do something racist or add something political (as in, something thats currently politically happening in the world), what’s worse is that they seemed to have made Palestine the villain and Israel the victim which is clearly, not the case right now. It just seemed extremely tone deaf, if they needed a story there they could’ve easily made up something. The K-Drama would’ve been a 9 if it wasn’t for that. But oh well.

Overall it was pretty good, I liked the side characters and I liked how they didn’t pin the sisters against each other because of a man. When Ina returned I was afraid they would make her the villain but fortunately she wasn’t. I like how they gave everyone a nice story and wrapped it up without leaving you wondering what happened to the rest of the characters.

But yes, some things could have easily been avoided. But oh well.

Well it was alright! This show definitiely had a strong start and it seemed like it was going somewhere but I remember being a bit disappointed by the ending. Especially by the couple (inju and doil) like what was the point of them having this divine tension and chemistry between each other if you arent even gonna do anything about it!?
But I was really intrigued by that whole flower plot and the flower being like a serial killers autograph on every death.
I loved the sisters as well and their dynamic even though inju and inhye pissed me off sometimes..inkyeong remains the best sister in my opinion!!

A really good quick watch for when you’re bored

8 episode kdramas truly never miss! I expected a lot from Nam Joohyuk and he always delivers with his amazing acting skills and honestly he always chooses the best shows to star in.

This was so entertaining from start to finish, if you have an entire free day- you could definitely finish this in one sitting. That is if you enjoy supernatural/joseon era kdramas. This type of genre reminded me a lot of Alchemy of Souls, although I never finished that show, this one was a bit more better (in my opinion) it wasn’t focused on romance at all and only the plotline- they gave us two main characters who have an incredible chemistry together, it made me wish it would have romance! But I digress because not adding romance was truly the right call and it made them have a better stronger bond with one another.
The cute little monster that follows Gucheon around is an added bonus.

Amazing acting, and a really interesting plot that had me hooked. The ending made it seem like there will be another season, which I truly hope happens. I will be tuning into season 2 should there be one!

More than friends less than lovers

I used to be an avid hater of when I’m promised a queer romance but instead get nothing but subtlety and no indication of love whatsover. Countries like these often censor queer love especially with big name actors like Taecyeon.

I didn’t know what to expect going into this, and I read a couple of comments on it, where people said it’s just pure queerbait— so I decided to avoid it.
But the more the show popped up on my timeline on netflix, the more curious I got.

I didn’t see much promotion on this show, hell I didn’t even see many edits either. So I really went in blind.

The beginning started, and from the getgo they made sure you know what the genre of this show will be. It IS a queer story, and it did not hide it.

It might not fall under the BL category but it most definitely is a love story. One that doesn’t need an explicit kiss to show that it’s romantic.

The main characters kept showing their love, and confessing in the most beautiful ways. Everything that they’ve done for each other, is a love confession.

This is one of the most beautiful shows I’ve watched…I cried so much; my heart still hurts, but that’s how you know it’s a well done show. Amazing performances by the actors, every episode captivated me. So much rawness and pain, yet the most beautiful love story came out of it.

Amazing show. I’ll remember it forever.

Pretty entertaining

I don’t have many complaints about this show, it was really entertaining and every episode was really enjoyable to watch. It had many funny moments and sometimes kdramas like these miss the mark with their comedy and just end up being corny- and honestly they had their corny moments too but a lot of the jokes were so stupid that it made it funny lol if that makes sense.

There are some plotholes that were left unanswered like they say that the main thing they could recognise if Irang is posessed is when his cheeks turn red, and he would be posessed near his family all the time and somehow they would still be confused? Like bro only after a little while would they belike “ohhhh its not Irang” as if the cheeks aren’t proof enough? and then at the end the FL noticed his red cheeks and immediately assumed he was getting posessed so the red cheeks are visible to others not just us. its just a little thing i found a bit annoying.

there’s also something i didn’t understand which is how did he not get completely banned from entering a court while acting the way he did in the first episode, and then him sneaking into apartments and buildings…there are just so many things they let slide in this show lol…but if we look past that its a pretty solid show and if there happens to be a season 2 i would watch it!

overall the show was actually pretty predictable most of the times but that didn’t take away the enjoyment of watching it. i understand if some find it boring though cus it has the potential of getting pretty boring if you’re not locked into the plot. im convinced the only reason i finished this show was because i got long breaks from it until the next episode aired- which made my anticipation grow rather than having the whole show out…i would’ve probably ghosted it lol pun intended.

but i’m glad i stuck around, its not a bad show at all!

Finally some good food

Oh I love love looooooooved this BL!!!!!
The concept was so fun and engaging and it kept me LOCKED TF IN!

This is what I wanna see man…I went into this show blind and didn’t know what it was about but the concept being a guy inside of a video game is just peak.

Although somewhere towards the end it was hinted at that it isn’t really a game but rather a lesson for the MC to realise??? Or something like that. It started to confuse me a bit but regardless I got the message and it’s beautiful!

Loved all characters but the main characters truly took the trophy for me. My god I loved their chemistry and although ok lol i’ll be honest, they didn’t have the best chemistry ever (by far Semantic Error still has the best BL chemistry!!) but I loved the message they conveyed and I love how little it mattered to them about the fact that its two guys going out. Of course there were homophobic remarks but it didn’t define the story and it was handled pretty well in my opinion. Sometimes kdramas get a bit corny whenever they try to implement racism/homophobia and just come out as ‘saviours’ rather than actually sending out a message about it.

I got a feel of a real sincere feeling in this show, the actors did really well although the chemistry did lack a little bit but just like a tiny bit. It felt like they were a bit awkward around each other LOL but regardless it wasn’t too bad to not be able to watch. They were adorable and I loved their growth and character arcs.

Usually 8 episode shows end in a rushed way so i’m not surprised that this one ended that way too. I feel like the plot they went with has so much more depth to go into so there are many plotholes but i understand that with a small budget and short timeframe they had to make it work somehow so i don’t want to be too strict.

Although this isn’t some kind of masterpiece perfect piece of BL, its certainly enjoyable and fun to watch!! I finished it in one sitting. Super good and engaging! Loved the couple.♥️
