Well i'm sorry but i gave him the benefit of doubt while watching the drama, but now i can't he's a real jerk and make things hard and uncomfortable for the FL, like if you don't feel like getting entangled with her, just stay away, the way he just get involved in everything she does like the CV, phone call issues, or thesis, i get you relate to a personal experience but him giving mixed signals is the worst.

before closing the chapter, i need to give some rant
first of all, this is my first time crying for a boy asking the parents their child's hand in marriage, that was so heartbreaking, my heart goes for zhao, heyu really nailed the character, from the nervousness, to the dialogue, omg, that was so beautiful done.
then, wtf why is wan qing invited to the wedding ?! after the thing she pulled, i genuinely believe they should have cut ties with her.
the bromance between JZ and lin sui or JZ and sanlai are the best, as well as JZ and his whole gang. Sanlai and Mu's bond is also one of my fav.
JZ is a yearner but Mu is even more, like what do you mean it's been over 6 years and you collected all your ex's belonging, this girl is a true romantic to the core. I love their loyalty and trust for each other, no matter the circumstance, their heart never waver.
Lastly, love timeskip mumu, she's so bold and kiss are so fire, their skinship are even more crazy afterwards.
End of my rant, overall, i highly recommend it if you want to get butterfly in your stomach, get giddy, screaming until 5 in the morning, and getting crazy with a hot couple with intense chemistry, and bonus would be a sexy and skilled ML, then this drama is definitely for you.

Can you explain more, what does JZ's father being a racer before has to do with him knowing with the racing's event for today's ep, like do you mean he keep up with the trends in illegal racing tournament or something?

What i'm wondering is how do they know it's JZ when they watch the news, there was no clear mention of his name since it was an illegal race in the first place. So either they may guess he was part of the participant but not sure if it was him who crashed, so that's why the lil sister may have said is brother okay, also for the hospital, they may not know where he is at this point, since it's not allowed to visit
