Watching the third season of donghua is bringing me lots of 2019 untamed memories 😠I used to camp in the comments section here every day reading about how people just can't move on from the story
directed @ the people who have watched this show: should i not watch this show first and read the novel instead?…
For me it was after episode 14/15 that it started getting really interesting and kept me hook till the last episode. And when I rewatch it, it all made sense. This story is one of my favorite story ever so I enjoyed every version of it be it live adaptation or donghua or audio drama. The story telling in the novel is non linear and some things can be lost in translation too. So I did like audio drama more than the novel. Perhaps after the officially translated novel gets released next year, I will re read it again. My cousin who loved the novel couldn't get into drama for some reason so I understand if it's not for everyone. I would suggest to keep watching till 15 episodes at least.
Literally "be careful what you wish for" or maybe in this case"be careful what you fantasize about" One thing that's silly but also what I like is how the characters from the story acts like something definitely written by 12yo. Really weird drama. But funny
I know people don't like the cast and the production team but I keep seeing shooting pictures and videos on timeline and zhai xiaowen is so adorable :D
There's plenty of high school nostalgia vibe drama but these never gets old. The first two episodes were enjoyable And I'm glad finally finally the female lead is not the one with the short coconut hairstyle every fl seems to have for these type of drama.
I actually like this actress and was looking forward to this drama. It's only the beginning so too early to judge I guess but I can't help but find the fl character a bit annoying. She was supposedly heartbroken over her two childhood friends betraying her, she was so hurt to the point of giving them cold shoulder ignoring them not listening to their side of the story but not hurt enough to goes around falling for the next good looking guy she saw on the park I guess .??? Her love feels a little too shallow
The amount of money put into this drama, the effort by the entire production team all down the drain. Feel so…
They never should have casted him in the first place. He never was a phenomenal actor. Imagine it could have been someone else's biggest push in their career
The amount of money put into this drama, the effort by the entire production team all down the drain. Feel so sorry for other actors and actresses as well. C ent erasing his existence as they should I don't wanna see his face anywhere ever again.
I never saw XL described as a frail feminine flower in the book so I always preferred more boyish casting like…
I thought I was the only one who saw huo minghao as xie lian, maybe because they both have really beautiful smile. I don't know anything about zhai xiaowen but I will wait to see his work before I judge. Sometimes casting unknown actors or those who aren't really popular for other role is good. Because when you cast a popular actor who is already known for his portrayal of another character it can get difficult to get used to them playing another impactful character. So I'm not actually mad with the casting just hoping the acting and script are good. Maybe the director saw something in him that we haven't
Instead of just translating every Korean word by word scene by scene to Thai I wish they had actually put some flavor of their own, altered a bit but staying true to original story. Because it's not 2014 anymore. Even the ml's Name were kept similar. I want to keep watching because I like the fl's character. She's not the usual Mary Sue main character. And the actress playing is also good.
