Definitely not boring (it's actually really good) but need a strong heart. I thought I will be good with the amount of gory since I'm a big fan of GOT. but I guess taking breaks from western TV serials for some years and getting used to fluff of Asian dramas I couldn't continue.
she is Uyghur - a Chinese ethnic minority https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UyghursI don't understand why the Chinese…
From what I read, the uyghur area used to be developed, and had more closer ties with other west Asian countries like Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, since they also share the same religion, Chinese government feared their closer ties with neighbouring Muslim countries and so they started this whole cruel ethnic cleansing thing. It's very cruel and heartbreaking.
Do I need to watch TMOPB to understand this? Because I really want to watch this. I like both the leads and the plot looks interesting, but I don't want to watch TMOPB, which I try watching so many times only to dropped it again and again.
Currently, I am watching episode one of Joy of Life and it seems pretty boring as of now. Can someone reassure…
For the untamed it took me six episodes to get hooked. For joy of life I got hooked from the very first episode. I would recommend you keep watching because it's plot heavy and full of surprises. Maybe give it five to six episodes
Both the untamed and joy of life are my top favourite. I hope you also enjoy it :)
It's been over a week that I have been putting the last five episodes on hold because I don't want this to end :((. There has never been a single boring moment. Every scene unfolds something new. This is such a gem :((.
Just trying the 1st ep. and it is totally throwing me off that the male lead is that punk from Love 020. I am…
I couldn't believe they are the same person. I guess it goes to show how good he is. How I hated that character in love o2o but now I find bai yu extremely attractive.
I m really enjoying joy of life But to say untamed doesn't have interesting plot has got to be a joke.
The pattern I'm seeing is untamed got so popular that it got on the nerves of so many so they are jumping on the opportunity to talk bad about it. Like even YouTube page has become so negative with all the novel fans saying some really bad things about the drama. It's okay if you don't like the drama but usually I don't see that much of negativity even for a really really bad drama.
There’s something even more heart-wrenching seeing a person that’s “born with a smile” like Wei Wuxian…
This is so true. Also One thing I notice xiao zhan in wei wu xian costume looks just extraordinarily good. Cause I saw on twitter, cql fans will be posting a clip from the drama and there will always be non fans asking who's the guy in black dress :D. He really has this charisma that can easily attract people just from a glimpse.
I-im highly depressed i finish this drama in just few days despite of my schedule coz it was so intresting But…
Ah that feeling of emptiness and satisfaction at the same time.
Don't worry you will get used to it in few weeks or months but it will never go away :D
Also I tried watching other dramas, I started some three four dramas but they couldn't captured my attention and I gave up. Everything else feels bland I have been watching dramas /series both Asian and western for so long but this has never happened before. Even when I had withdrawal syndrome before I could get over it in weeks but it's been months I'm still stuck in this mdzs world :D
Maybe it is both a curse and a blessing to experience such a story :)) :((
by the time this drama comes out it will look cheap and outdated.
I was thinking exactly the same. I have the same worries. The cinematography, cgi and in terms of other technical aspects, compared to dramas being filmed this year or last year. Three years can bring lots of changes.
I know I'm obsessed with this story, but I didn't realise I had such attachments to cql until I saw Wang yibo and xiao zhan saying farewell to their character. I wasn't even physically present at the concert but It hurts :(. Xiao zhan almost choke saying goodbye :( I know I can always go back to watching the donghua and the live action but something about the way they said goodbye hurts. :((
I was flipping through the comments here, trying to escape the day's news, and I see something that sticks out…
Sad but true. And it goes both the ways. Fans and anti fans (I don't know what to call it) And it goes overboard and straight up lands in the area of bullying.
Tw//
The irony is the untamed itself shed light on bullying. Maybe it was the fantasy settings but the drama itself is so relatable to the current world. How they keep bullying wei wu xian to the point he took his own life.
I hope I will be able to pick it up someday.
Do check out Princess agent, and rookie agent rougue.
It's very cruel and heartbreaking.

Anticipating Mondays more than weekends :))

I even like the support roles more than the main one itself
Reading some comments here and on twitter I'm really worried it could be disappointing ending.
Can anyone suggest if I should keep going or quit it?

This is the link to the English translation of the novel.
Hope you enjoy :)
There are few additional chapters after the story ends in the drama.
