Okay it improved by ep 5 and 6 it doesn't feel forced anymore and is quite enjoyable as well.

Just finished the series I think everyone who loves romance will absolutely love the first half of the series after that though it just feels like they're dragging it out too much. There were so many moments where I thought my heart was literally gonna explode. I strongly agree that He Yu basically gave the series it's meaning cause like that guy had me bewitched I don't think I could've sit through it without the strong charms being emitted out of this guy everytime he is on screen 😂. I really hope he'll pick up more modern series in the future ! But yeah overall like I said first half of the series was a good watch after that I was just skipping ahead because the environment just suddenly changed and it felt like some kind of filler episodes, the shift wasn't subtle at all it was like they flipped the entire thing which was kind of a let down. Also the bromance between Lin Sui and Jin Zhao was also worth it haha.

oo the family wealth being tied to the gourd reminds me of revenant plot a bit.

I've watched a few gls in the past but tbh none of them have ever really impressed me I've been looking forward to this one and wish upon a star(i think that's the name?) since the gmm line up and I feel like this one will definitely win me over I love their chemistry ever since I saw MuTeLuv and ep 1 has not let me down I can definitely see myself enjoying this one and im also happy for Jan and Jingjing, I've seen them play side characters before and thought they were naturally good actress'.

Ah it's a valid thought but I have a feeling she might just be there to show a powerful female character because throughout the series all the female characters are independent and strong willed I doubt they'd deviate from that to put the message that a women with so much charisma is gay also like kseries rarely have main characters as gay although it's not impossible i still doubt that could happen idk though just my opinion but haha rooting for aide choi as well.

Is this worth watching or should I just watch the donghua ? I've been planning to watch the donghua for a long time now just didn't get the chance.

I mean that doesn't necessarily make her gay ? There are many women who do not care about being feminine from what I can tell she is just a very charismatic character with her own style whether she's gay or not should not be judged from the way she dresses or styles her hair ?

The exaggerated acting is throwing me off. Comedy is non-existent and the flaws are standing out a little too much. It's watchable though at least not boring ig ?

Oh man I can't stop giggling they're so cute and I'm already loving their chemistry ! 4 episodes in and so far it's already one of my comfort series it's a really good romcom and I really hope they can keep this up.

Wow he's such a great actor it's a pity his talent is being slept on rn I came here after finishing Mouse. I really hope he'll return with another spectacular series.

Yes, the writing is not good enough to make me feel that indulged in the story. No comedy, no excitement factors just really bland.

It's one of those mid shows you watch when you have absolutely nothing else to do imo.
