yes these details do come at the end episode. That's great and don't get me wrong i also feel the same way and that's exactly what the writer wanted to show the viewers as well. These are just fictional characters but people like that are out there being consertive as ever. The writer isn't romantizing these characters but instead shows us their faults and how their actions or words ended up hurting others and in what way and these things are supposed to enlighten us and make us more self aware. It encourages us to think more before acting or speaking. That's the purpose of these characters. Showing messed up characters is as important as showing all perfect and admirable characters because we don't only learn from the best but also from the worst.

I think you mixed up some things. Hye Jo's mom died and his father remarried and had another child with her. Hye Jo's mom kept her mouth shut about how he wasn't her husbands biological son because she knew that if she didn't he would abandon him because of his character of caring about what others think about him. It's hard to say whether Hye jo's mom died intentionally or if it was an accident. As to why he wanted to find his father is because he inherited his father's illness and because he's his biological father, the only family left after his mom died. Above all, the writer wanted to show us these kinds of characters because people like these exist. People who care about blood line exists. Especially in asian countries these kinda things hold so much value to the people that they get blinded by it. We meet all kinda of people in life and sometimes they're difficult to understand or reason with but at the end of the days it's not absurdity it's just how life is.

i don't think that he was weak while fighting her tho cuz he did say that he can put up a better fight now that he's out of his body and besides nth was mentioned abt him being weak from being in a human body for so long. Either the fight was just underwhelming or maybe there's more to it like a plot twist where it just turns out that satan made an illusion of his defeat or smth.
