It's not a movie...
ah yes a Netflix movie is like having a cup of coffee: it’s short, gives you a boost, and you move on. Watching a Netflix series, on the other hand, is like opening a giant bag of chips: you tell yourself "just one episode," and three seasons later, it's 4 AM, and your life is in crumbs. 😅 I see the difference.

This movie is truly unpredictable—you can't guess what's coming next. It puts its own spin on all the major space sci-fi blockbusters of recent years, sometimes parodying them, sometimes with humor, and other times taking a more serious tone. We’ve had the Gravity moment, the Armageddon moment, and now the The Martian moment.

Well, the story with the winning lottery ticket has come to an end. I believe many of you wondered how you would…
People often act differently when making decisions alone versus in a group. Group dynamics, such as social pressure or shared responsibility, can significantly influence the outcome.

The Drama Crisis in 2025: When Good Ideas Go to Waste
I feel like dramas have reached a scriptwriting crisis point. The ideas? Brilliant. The execution? Like giving Picasso broken pencil to create a masterpiece. It's almost as if the writers come up with diamonds but then carve them into... pebbles.

The series is enjoyable to watch, the chemistry is great, and I like the actors. However, just like in the previous series with the FL, here too, I can't find a valid reason not to embrace a relationship when they clearly love each other. (It's just to drag it out for 12 episodes and stretch it to the finale.) Honestly, just have an honest conversation, and boom – everything's solved in one episode! ;)

The curtain is blue.English teacher: The colour of the curtain signifies the sadness and despair of the hero in…
lol, Everything in the world can be seen through different lenses; all it takes is changing the
glasses. The same text is like a chameleon at a party: the writer dresses it up one way, the director gives it a makeover, the actor adds their own flair, and the 100 spectators each see something completely different—depending on their mood, imagination, or what they had for lunch.
OR
The same text is like a pizza: the writer picks the dough, the director adds the toppings, the actor cooks it their way, and the 100 spectators argue over whether pineapple belongs on it or not!

I also loved 6th ep ! It offers a subtle satire on businessmen starting to control space and space expeditions now (very relevant like E.Musk and authers...). It also tackles highly current topics like the ethics of procreation, the definition of life, and at what point we can say something is truly a person. In short, very contemporary and sensitive subjects, in my opinion. All the characters are interesting, with both positive and negative traits.

I can’t believe this asshole chaebol thought he could take over an international space mission just to create…
Why not believe? Businessmen like Elon Musk don't already have control over space?

I loved the 5th episode, it's absolutely perfect!! The father is so funny... Min Ho in his loser mood today lol !! , the Spanish was great too... (Finally, a foreigner in a Korean film who isn’t portrayed in a ridiculous way!
In this series, we have a bit of absurd humor, satire, Situational, self-deprecation, and slapstick humor. The blend of elements satire & absurde humors with serious moments and romance is so refreshing in K-dramas !
I love the shots and visuals in this episod ! And the music at the end was good —who's the singer???

In any case, what I can notice is that this series sparks real debates and radically divides viewers into two camps: for and against... It's fun to read and follow sometimes, because we are all trying to prove something, no one remains indifferent, whether for or against.
I also noticed that many of the viewers are not fans of K-drama romantic comedies, they were expecting to see a science fiction film, others are romantics but don't find enough romance, some don't find enough comedy, and others don't like the actress or the screenwriter. But everyone is absolutely interested in this series.
And there is a camp that supports this film (like me), despite its flaws (for different reasons for each person).
There are also those for whom the rating is more important, the rest doesn't matter (Top or Flop) . All our passion is solely for this series. And there are creators who are probably drinking wine right now... :)

I have lots of fun with this too. It's fresh and the story is unpredictable. LMHs character is a bit reckless…
LMH seems to be definitively breaking away from his mainstream image with projects like Pachinko, WTSG, and perhaps Omniscient Rider? Moreover, this serie includes subtle references where he deconstructs his persona, even doing the opposite with a self-deprecating humor that contrasts with his usual roles.
However, he still keeps his brand :) Loving a mermaid, crossing into another universe to see his beloved, searching a doctor in another time… It’s all part of his narrative arc, isn’t it? So why not save a girl in space this time? :))

Because they're too young to have "2001: A space odyssey" as a reference 😂
Even though a film from 1968 can be considered a masterpiece on an artistic level, it is difficult to compare it, in terms of production, post-production, and budget, to a film made today. Technological advancements, digital tools, and the financial resources available nowadays create a significant gap between the two eras.

i think in this serie also told that on Earth we don't pay attention to little things like flies or mice, their lives are not important, but once humanity is left alone in space, every form of life takes on value! It's also about looking at what surrounds us differently, human values, deep love (I think the film tells this story—about life, the value of birth, and all the way to death). The music will be magnificent too, I already love it, and there are beautiful images... I think there is comedy , romance ... and a bit of everything, but this film can be watched on multiple levels of understanding.

Interstellar had a budget of 165 million for 2 hours of film. Here, there are 16 episodes, and the budget is nowhere near the same... but they still manage really well. I like the shots and the director's style.
The fourth episode was really fantastic, but I still like it! It’s like an apotheosis and self-irony for Lee Min Ho after all his films (in the theme of "The Knight Serving Love"). And I think the screenwriter made a lot of references for Lee Min Ho...

Yes, from a science fiction perspective, there are many plot holes, and it’s obvious that she’s not from this field, but in what fast-consumption film in the Netflix era do we not see this? Let’s take any series or a "historical" genre book, like "Bridgertons" — who can say this isn’t fantesy fiction? Productions today are made to turn off the rational, historical, or scientific side of the brain and turn on only pleasure and an escape from reality.

I love the OST, the music is really good, especially PSY’s song when they go to space — just super (the pre-Gangnam Style era song, when he was singing in a Korean style). And the music that accompanies Father Cha Yeol and his "army"... And after that, there will probably be only international stars for the music!! I’m looking forward to it.

And the ending... wow! :) Let’s see what happens next!

It is fascinating to note that 70% of people choose to follow a film based on whether it will succeed or fail, as if they are betting on the success or failure of the major stars involved.
the cinema, like any form of art, only holds value in the eyes of the viewer. The opinion of others, no matter how influential, should not shape our own perception. Every film is a unique encounter between the work and the spectator, and that encounter should happen without the weight of collective judgment. We all have the opportunity, and even the responsibility, to free ourselves from external influences in order to enjoy a film based on our own sensibility. (It will also help film producers, stars and creators to tinker less and CREATE more, rather than follow trends.)

Thus, it is not about blindly following mainstream opinions or conforming to societal standards, but about giving ourselves the chance to discover, to judge without the influence of pre-existing judgments. ( That's where the manipulation of views, likes, fake inflated numbers, etc., comes from in our time, because that's our value of judgment.) Ultimately, it is in this freedom of judgment that the richness of our artistic experience lies, far from the projections of success or failure that impose a utilitarian view of art.

It's so great, the third episode—my adrenaline is at its highest level. It was super, everyone plays wonderfully.

The combination of actors is simply perfect!
I think both play wonderfully and very naturally. Gong Yoo Jin may not be as "doll-like" as the SFL, but she is very natural (just like her personality...), and her performance here is flawless. I believe this is truly a mature relationship! Min Ho is amazing !!—slightly clumsy, funny, but competent!

You can clearly see the director's style in many details, just like in it's okay to not be okay. The small quotes, even the opening animation.. ( very well thought out, just like in that series) . Also, I think there are many similarities with Encounter... and there will also be inspirations from the film Gravity with sandra bullock and george clooney (from the very beginning, there are resemblances to that movie).
