Title The White Olive Tree Spoiler
novel ends with happy ending, but epilogue is differend. the whole novel with an epilogue is on wattpad. I don't…
I have read it... It's sad, it's reality. I like the open ending without the epilogue, as it leaves room for hope—hope for reconciliation or not, even though the scars never truly fade. It gives hope to those who have survived the war. And I think the series will end this way, without the epilogue.

Otherwise, it only paints a harsh reality, without offering hope. Saying no to war is necessary, but can humanity ever truly stop it? History repeats itself, conflicts rise and fall, and peace remains fragile. Yet, if we abandon hope, what is left? Perhaps the answer in this serie is not in ending war entirely, but in ensuring that those who survive have a reason to believe in a better future.

Title The White Olive Tree Spoiler
About ending - Novel SPOILIER
.
.
I’m confused. I read the novel on Wattpad, and to be honest, I only read the ending so far. I plan to go back and start from the beginning. If it’s an adaptation (since there are several books with the same title), isn’t it a hopeful ending with an open conclusion and not a tragic one? Or did I misunderstand?

Person Lee Min Ho
for me his acting performance TOP's
1. Pachinko (2,1) (top)
2. Gangnam 1970 (top)
3. When The Stars Gossip (good)
4.Faith
5.City Hunter (good)
6.The Legend of the Blue Sea (very cool)
7.The King: Eternal Monarch (nice as a king)
.....
The Heirs ( his acting is good but the serie is poor)
Boys over Flowers ( he has the charisma, but the serie is poor same plot like The Heirs, end quite old )
Personal Taste ( quite old serie, but not bad)

First episode, and I really enjoy the actors and their chemistry. As for aspects other than the romance (the city, the context, the coincidences—it is definitely an imaginary tale) but it's still enjoyable to watch for now..

Dear Lilili - As long as these losses are not deducted from your bank account or mine, there is no reason to worry about their budget. They have sufficient resources, and neither you nor I are the producers of this series to assess the actual losses related to this production.

As for the elements mentioned in the blog, no tangible evidence supports them. Regarding the views, they range from 200,000 to 1 million per post. However, this means nothing in itself, as the number of views does not reflect the quality of a product in any way—especially since they can always be bought at will.

Giving constructive feedback is one thing, but why waste your energy on destruction when negative subjectif critiques, far from annihilating, often end up fueling success, while you could choose to elevate what deserves to be seen?
Writing 50 times that a work is bad can be seen as a quest for personal validation through collective opinion, attempting to impose an absolute truth. This approach reduces criticism to a mere tool for being heard, rather than encouraging genuine dialogue or nuanced reflection.

yes ! If you look at the ratings in detail on this site, you'll see that they are going up as the episodes progress, especially after episodes 7-8. So, once everyone understands the concept, it's all good.

ive rarely seen such a low rating !! can someone enlighten on me what they dislike about the drama? is it terrible…
It’s a great series , I think it’s 1 ) about very high expectations 2) certain objectives the film aimed for, but in reality, it offers something different 3) It mixes a lot of styles western and drama style , and the audience might not have connected with it from the first episode 4) A plot that unfolds slowly 5) and while being original in many aspects and conservative in others

It's certain that after the report, they will go back into space again. ML will leave with Eve while maintaining cordial relations at first. What do you think?"*

I know, I understand, I myself don’t like endless love triangles, etc... However, I've noticed that many people actually enjoy the presence of these clichés. It's also what makes the style of k-dramas successful and distinctive, I think, just like Bollywood style for example (I’m French, just to say). Everywhere, the real issue is how much to Americanize and how much to keep cultural character in a work to reach the mainstream. I think Lee Min Ho (I really like him) has the mission to make this series evolve globally, which is why the series has a lot of ‘Western’ elements. However, it’s also important to keep the drama-loving audience. So, I think the problem with this series is that people who are fans of dramas no longer identify with it because it’s too Western, and for Western fans, there’s not enough experience to reach the same high level as Hollywood in terms of sci-fi.
and For someone who is quite open in both senses, there is no problem mixing genres and experimenting this experience

Hey hows this drama I watched 1 ep last week and keep it for hold and now I want to watch it again hows it now?
I really like a lot of things in it; it's a heavy job in many aspects of k-dramas (actors, casting, cinematography, writing ideas), and it's very interesting to watch. If I like it or not, I'll let you know at the end :)

ep 10 ..
Personally, I love the fantastical side of this drama. What I’m hoping for is that the script takes it to the next level. I’d love for them to go back into space for another mission (like Armageddon, lol ), with the same team—that would be amazing. And at the end, ML opens a sort of clinic, as he mentioned at the beginning to his future father-in-law, to allow more people to heal their issues if needed.
This would give a broader perspective on the question of why go so far for a wealthy heiress. It would raise a bold or controversial ethical point, but from a biased standpoint, allowing the series' sci-fi aspect to conclude in an interesting way."

You can definitely watch it and form your own opinion. In any case, right now, it’s the best ongoing series of 2025.

You’re right, but there’s a subtlety. In this dorama, the cliché elements are used in a way that turns them around, making them more realistic and mature. Clichés initially help place the work within a certain 'genre,' but what makes the whole thing original is how these elements are treated—or not—which we’ll see at the end of the series.

Not being afraid to judge a film for yourself means claiming your own critical perspective without being influenced by the dominant opinion, professional critics, or current trends.

In a society where opinions are often shaped by algorithms, influencers, or specialized media, it is easy to follow a consensus without truly questioning "WHAT WE PERSONALLY THINK" . Yet, each viewer experiences a work differently, depending on their cultural background, emotions at the moment, and expectations.

Judging a film for yourself also means accepting that art is subjective.
