😂 I actually stopped watching and only picked it up again when I heard that she died. its why I'm not really…
I also sped through a bunch of the cutesy mummy daughter moments but yes the story starts to flow much more smoothly after she died. (oh also, the woman never apologized to her daughter🙃)

no lol all sorts of people are drawn to a story for all sorts of reasons, not just bc of the story as a whole, which we only know at the end. this drama alone tried to cram in as many themes as possible so it can reach as wide an audience as possible bc of that very reason. and if the drama is impacted bc people didn't find what they came for in the first place as advertised by the drama, then that's on the drama

just like it has the perfect amount of romance for you, it holds an inadequate amount for others and they are entitled to rate and comment based on that bc again romance was a key genre at the start. I do not mind myself eitherway but people's frustrations are understandable
with the thunder tribulation she took on behalf of mei shan , I feel like our girl should be able to ascend up one more godhood level. except it isn't poss...
I really liked ep 27, the women came together to help her and yunxi finally came clean, I even liked the concubine turning a new leaf and using her evil mind for good. the latter episodes are much stronger than the earlier episodes imo (ex the mum's performance ofc)
romance is a genre just like any other genre. it is no lesser than other genres like revenge, thriller, etc and can be the most magical when handled correctly. clowning viewers for only caring about romance and love and kisses in dramas as opposed to other genres is really bad form friends. we all can't like the same things, and this drama was originally presented as a romance drama hence the expectations. grace
For those people who were disappointed "JUST BECAUSE IT WASN'T A ROMANCE CENTERED DRAMA" wake up!! The Tags and…
the slight romance tag was a recent change (done when the drama was almost over). before that romance was listed as a core genre. it's not so far out of left field that people were looking for romance in a drama that was originally tagged romance
I just finished ep 26 and I can't stop chortling bc the father is a really good villain ngl. I hate his mannerisms and I never wanna see him on the screen but he's very smart in a way that pleases me
I came back to this and skipped to the end and tbh I didn't really find her revenge all that satisfying. also the scummy husband is the mc here not her so. watch if you want but I wouldn't recommend
she's the only goddess in the entire world why are we watching her cater to these men 🥴🥴? i mean i get it but i suddenly don't like it, esp with the introduction of baron chen. i'm getting horrible kill me love me flashbacks
I don’t think he’s morally grey. He once saved his people, but instead of being rewarded, he was imprisoned…
the litmus test here is, especially in the boat ep I was referring to and even before that; he stood by and watched on as innocent people got slaughtered when he could have rescued them with just a flick of his hand ( as he eventually did in the end bc of the FL's insistence) and that is not something a good character no matter how traumatized or hurt would do.
i really like the weapon spirit. i like the concept of a weapon spirit, i like the characterization and the actor brings it to life very nicely. just 10s across the board
I really like this kind of ml, just completely grey to the core but like in a way that makes sense. I was watching him just standby during that boat slaughter and like yea screw them tbh. I hope they won't turn him into a puppy once he falls in love
How is it so far? I have been putting it off because the trailer threw me off a little with the sound quality…
I really like it, i've watched seven episodes so far and I don't have even one complaint. to watch while it airs or binge after, you can try the first ep and see what u think
(oh also, the woman never apologized to her daughter🙃)
