its her mother she wants to save bc she apparently has unconditional love for the woman she just met few months…
I said a similar thing already in another comment but i'll reply to this one too. yes you are correct, her desperation to be loved and protected is a natural product of all her trauma, except they've told us and shown us that's not all she is. someone who is only craving parental love would never have survived up until this point. they showed us her trauma and told us she is more, it is only right to expect more than trauma effects, heroic suffering.

yeah like what is she doing there? 😠she can establish her own residence and then go visit if its that deep? if it was just obsession borne out of trauma that is driving her actions then that is fine, but her love seems to be the automatic mother child type and that is the problem. I really balk at that idea of automatic love like why is that just a given? between two adult women with complicated traumatic pasts at that? especially when one side has repeatedly acted otherwise?

yes she is traumatized and needy and wants to be loved that much is clear. but she is also intelligent, determined, she knows right from wrong, comes from a place where she had to fight all the time to survive and she can hold a grudge, enough to kill. put all those into a blender and add on the fact that she just met these people, and her unconditional love should be a bit more conditional
i really don't get FL's obsession with saving this toxic af family. no one ever did anything for her so what's…
its her mother she wants to save bc she apparently has unconditional love for the woman she just met few months ago, and mummy dearest is her bottom line 🙄. why? cos the scriptwriter is trifling
i'm watching her strangle the concubine in ep 10 and you know what? she really should have put hands on that woman since the ist ep. it is loooonng overdue
it feels like the main leads are lacking screen presence / main lead energy. I want to blame the director, since…
I would put maybe a tiny part of it on the actors but I think its more the directing and the writing bc their characters are both flat in the exact same way. like the main leads from rise of ning
the mum lost the power to manage the household bc she foolishly tried to come for her husband in public knowing full well he had the upper hand, fair game. instead of just following the fl's arrangement. all that arrogance and she's not even that smart smh
