i've just started this and on episode 5, ling xiao's mom is terrible and annoying. no matter how traumatized and hurt you were, you don't get to walk out on your child and expect them to welcome you back into their life after you cut all ties with them. this typical toxic parenting that is very prevelant in eastern and south asian cultures. i hope they call this out in the show later.

its difficult to get through because this trope is sooooo overdone

i mean if thats your view then cool, but its still not right in my opinion.

i think this plot would work soooo well if it was a series

this drama was pretty solid except for the cheating wife thing, idc if her husband died or whatever, she cheated nonetheless and cheating can never and should never be justified.

i think this could be a sad ending but i really hope im wrong lol

yup this is the only aspect about this show that doesn't shit right with me
