I don't have this show on WeTV, i only follow it on youtube.

Well, how much money they are earning will probably never be disclosed, however on instagram they said they sold the licencing rights for the series to WeTV in several regions, including India and Malaysia, however due to censoring they can't show the series there? Which is a very weird situation, why would anyone buy the rights to a serie they can't air/stream?

I would like 5 more seasons, but it's never happening, Jake Hsu looks very done with it, he didn't even promote the japanese run. At least Chris Wu stayed loyal ;)

It was a very cute and light show. I really enjoyed it. Yes, the story was ridiculous, but everyone was so pretty, and whoever dressed up Jung Il Woo deserves an Oscar. He had better fashion sense than the women, not to mention the color matching of his clothes was on point. The soundtrack was also great, i'm still listening to the songs on youtube. The only complaint I have is about the overuse of flashbacks. Some of them happened immediately after we watched the scene they are replaying, it felt like the director was saying "look, look, this is why she is feeling this way, look!!!" They should have had more confidence in viewers attention span.

After finishing this, I have a bit of mixed emotions. I'm not entirely convinced by the chemistry, I know OffGun has been doing this for years, but I feel like they have different energy levels. What i find special about the drama, is that it's one of the few BLs with plot! There was an actual character development, a storyline, things were making sense and leading to a conclusion. Someone put love and energy in producing this, I wanna thank them for the entertaing story. Also the title song (Fake Protagonist) is amazing, love both the English and Thai versions.

I just want to repeat my comment, ep.9 and 10 had the most romantic representation of homoerotic love I have ever seen. I totally agree with you that these two episode are historic and a milestone.

Well, I respectfully disagree. This is BL genre, however engineering student have been done a little too many times. There was a hype 20 years ago to do the war in Vietnam movies in Hollywood. When you do 20 movies about the same thing, less and less people went to watch them and the hype went away. And to be honest, I feel like this is what's happening to this drama. Even though in my opinion it's really good, people see the title 'engineers, again?!?', they read the synopsis 'super cringy, something with flowers' and they don't give it a chance. Which is a shame, i find it much better than 2gether to be honest. At least Bohn and Duen have some chemistry, unlike Sarawat and Tine.

I'm so happy I watched episode 3 because I needed a good laugh. The whole fighting over a guy who is standing right there in a bookshop was beyond ridiculous. Especially since Bar didn't say anything and looked totally disinterested to even be there. And the whole cringy public confession, omg! That was the most ridiculous thing, they did not even let the guy who won say one sentence! This whole production is like a movie major final project. Watch it for the cringe.

Was thinking the same! I love this show and episode 2 has barely 150.000 views, where boring ass Until we meet again, managed almost 800.000. This show is awesome people! Ok, maybe not the most original, but the chemistry, the friends, the situations are all really funny! Give them a chance!

I think History2:Crossing the line and History3:Trapped are great recommendations, and I would start there. If you are into a considerate top and tsundere bottom you should give TharnType a try.

I see you dedicated a considerable amount of time analyzing his facial characteristics :p Maybe I misunderstood, by white, I meant Win has a whiter skin tone, both of them are very far from a Caucasian look, if we are analyzing facial structure, Bright looks Indian to me. But this is highly subjective and I will not claim any expertise on the matter.

But... Isn't this how being a celebrity works in any country? Everything you described is hardly specific for Thailand, you can find such examples everywhere. People attach to certain actors or musicians, and then drop them when they are not so hot. Any smart celebrity would use this period to make as much money as possible. See TharnType, they are using the hype to promote everything under the sun. And on a side note, to me at least, Win looks "whiter" than Bright.

The characters have to have some flaws, otherwise it would be boring to watch if they were perfect. As Bohn will state later (I kinda already watched ep.4) it started with playing pranks with Duen, until he really fell for him and wants to date him for real.
