Title Why R U?
I find this whole situation very sad. The premise of this show was great. But now its become apparent that story…
Yeah, i also read that comment. But to me it makes no sense to not finish filming a series with only 12 episodes. I think, for american shows which last the whole season (basically whole year) with 24 episodes, usually the airing episodes are behind filming by 6-7 episodes. But this show with only 12 episodes and barely three months airing period makes little sense to not be done, even if they were still filming when it premiered, they would still need to finish filming by end of february so that they could have enough time to edit and post produce the filmed material. To claim that 3 episodes before the end you still haven't finished filming, to me is very strange. Who knows what goes behind the scenes.

Don't let the title or the premise convince you otherwise, this is a very cute and feel-good BL. The editing is just fine if you watch the officially uploaded videos. I urge people to give it a chance :) currently my favorite BL airing :)

It's a hot mess, but a cute hot mess. Very basic conflict. Continuing the recent trend of tsundere bottom, and caring, but confident top started by TharnType. And can we all appreciate the amazing, 3 minute pop masterpiece that is the intro song? I've been listening to it on youtube every day and this series does not deserve such a good song!

People keep saying this is the 1st/best LGBT representation on BLs, which series have you watched? LOLPlenty of…
I can't help it, but cringe everytime I read about LGBT representation in Thai BLs... Like, for real, this is just straight women fantasy. At least Why R U is not taking itself seriously, unlike 2gether, where the two leads are painfully obvious to be straight. Real gay stories would be really short, and probably pornographic :p

I’m liking this a lot, but the jumpy filming is giving me a headache! Is it really like that or just the uploaded…
They are doing some weird zooming on episodes 2 and 3, because those were originally only available for WeTV vip subscribers, and they are doing it to avoid some copyright complaints, although how does it work exactly i have no idea, since these illegally uploaded videos are just as easy to find as searching for the name of the show.

I agree, the first three parts were a little cringey and disappointing....but I am inclined to forgive and forget…
You and me both! They could've included at least one scene with Zon/Saifah, this episode felt it was a lot shorter anyway.

It was a nice episode, but Tine being dumb and confused needs to be dealt with quickly, because it's starting to be annoying, how many hints do you need? At this point i would just take a giant sign saying "I like you!" and hit him on the head with it, like in those Looney Toones cartoons :)

Episode 9 was the hottest BL episode we've got in a while, but it was bordeline cheesy. Like, from romantic dinner at the beach to after-sex jacuzzi bath, there was even a piggyback ride! It was like someone was going through a checklist of "most romantic things at the beach" and they just told Saint and Zee, do everything and we'll see what comes out of it. There was even a "Daniel Craig coming out of the ocean" shot for Zee! And according to the trailer for next week, it's "Sexy beach vacation part 2".

Even though short, you can feel this movie/mini-series was made with lots of love. The action sequences were great, and the acting was amazing. And there was no unnecessary shouting, which I'm not a fan of in Japanese/Korean cinema. I wish they had more money to develop it further, it could've been even better! I'm happy to have bought it on Vimeo and I hope it will support the production company to make more BLs.

Same, it's not spectacular, but enjoyable in its own sweet way.

Adam Uni subbed the movie and posted it on Facebook, for those curious. The movie exceeded expectations. It had moments of brilliance, where I lauged out loud, and several well-placed emotional moments. I can see why it was popular in Japan, it is really well made, combining traditional Japanese culture, with a novel story about two guys dating, instead of the usual. As with the tv show, I would've liked if the screaming was toned down, but that is basically my only complaint. I want now Season 3, I think the concept of doing different work-place scenarios would be interesting.

I was thinking of skipping this one, but it's actually pretty decent. Really curious how it develops.

It started strong with an interesting premise, and then it just...ended. Kiss for everyone and a good meal at the end. It had potential, with good casting choices and even not a bad director. If producing this show was some kind of test, i would like to know what is the result?

There is nothing in there that will be remembered, but a few snapshots; no meaningful plot, no characters worth…
Very accurate review. I was thinking the same. I think nothing will be remembered from this drama, except hot Korean brother.

Just one more episode? :/ I want another season or better twenty more seasons :P I don't know what it is, but…
It doesn't have to mean anything, TharnType had a whole additional movie, and they are still getting season 2.

Episode 8 was so beautiful. SaiZon are one of the healthiest and cutest BL couples out there so u should appreciate…
Just one more episode? :/ I want another season or better twenty more seasons :P I don't know what it is, but this show hits all the right spots for me, it has a great musical score, it's whimsical, funny, romantic, hot... It's not taking itself seriously at all, and it looks colorful and cheerful. We need more of it!

The beginning and the end parts were kinda interesting, the middle was boring nonsense, and that "brother" looked too old to be still in high school, he looked older than Sarawat and kinda silly in those short pants, and don't get me started with "you can give me a massage" part :/ Like, really?

On Theory of Love Mar 14, 2020
After watching the first 5 episodes i'm so pleasantly surprised by this show. I expected it to be another romcom, but the story, acting, editing, this might be the most competent Thai show I've seen yet. The title is a little misleading, there is not much 'Theory' in the love on the show, i would've gone with something more related to the movies. The romcoms are incorporated in a very interesting way. It's sort of a parody of romcom movies, just that it isn't?!? If this makes sense :) The acting of the four friends is very believable, and Third's pain of being hopelessly in love with a jackass like Khai is portrayed very realistically. I might even go so far to say that this is barely BL, it has no straight women fetishes, and feels like a true LGBT story. I like that they are still following some romcom tropes, like the guy that falls desperately in love with a girl the first time he sees her, and then spends the rest of the movie trying to impress her. It's cool that, unlike BLs, were everyone is gay, they kept the other friends straight and showed their struggles with love. Kinda gives a more universal message, that gay/straight/pansexual love, is actually, not that easy. My only complaint so far, is that some scenes look very brown, they could've used a bit more lighting. Dark blue kiss still remains unmatched in this department.
