I also agree with what you said, and I feel like most of the people commenting about Type being toxic, are seeing it from their perspective of "i would never date such a person". And I guess the target demographic for these shows (straight women) prefer guys who are all lovey dovey all the time. But in a real relationship between two guys there is always a bit of dominance struggle going on, and i love that it goes against the tired trope that if someone is a bottom, he has to be effeminate and submissive. Great job from the writer for subverting this trope! I was rooting for Type when he kicked him in the b*lls at the bar, it was so cool! But at the same time, maybe a bit overly dramatic, but that's why I watch a drama show, for the actual drama, i honestly think when i read this comment section, people want these characters to have no flaws and be perfect, i believe that then it would be a very boring show.

I'm generally enjoying the cute and fluffy moments, but this random crying and flashbacks from Pharm is a bit too much, if I was Dean, i would be like, gurl, your need some professional help, it's totally weird to cry buckets every time we are together :p

As you said Zhi Gang and Yu Xi Gu friendship is truly precious, I'm sure he empathizes a lot with him, because they are both missing their family, so in a way they can be a family to each other. It's too bad we never saw Zhi Gang's reaction to Yu Xi Gu dating a guy, he only told Hiang Hao that he is basically not good enough for Yu Xi Gu haha but they did not show a scene where he imparts his 'wisdom' as the older gay :p

I agree about the mother, in the previous episode when she delievered that whole exposition in one breath how no one can control their son since he was three, while hitting the right amount of exasperation, but then hope that maybe "that boy" can control him, was amazing.

Let's not about the bullying, it was the cringiest thing in the show. The silent, nerdy dude stealing the girlfriend from the popular, bad boy is a totally (un)believable plot point, i'm just glad they did not drag it too long... In my opinion, Yu Xi Gu should've been Xiang Hao's tutor from the second episode, and he should've hated studying with him, but later Xiang Hao falls in love with him... Haha maybe i should write my own fanfiction :p

Mmm... the first two episodes were of questionable quality, and not having any actual plot will forever be its greatest weakness. However, i see they went with the slice-of-life approach, which, so far, manages to keep me entertained a lot more than i imagined.

Everything was very cute this episode, you just want it to go on for hours! I hope people perservered from the first couple of episodes, it really did get a lot better.

It was really good, i didn't feel like i was watching for 45 minutes, when the credits started, i was like, but it just began!? Haha :)

If the price for the DVD is similar to the one for the show (140 euros!! and not even bothering to include English subtitles) they can keep it.

I'm not sure if characterizing Kao as "not caring" is valid. He was there for the filming of the cooking video to give moral support, he helped with the poster presentation, he gave Pete his teddy bear to help him practice more... What more can he so? It's admirable of Pete that he puts himself in such situations where he has to do something he is not good at (public speaking), it shows his determination to improve, after all "practice makes perfect".

This was so funny :) although Wayne not having enough time to put on the hoodie in the last game was a bit too obviously calculated move to show off his amazing upper body ;) I mean Huang even managed to button his shirt! I see what you did there and I approve :p

Ossan's love is comedy, while TharnType and MODC are drama. In comedy usually all actions are exaggerated for comedic effect. According to your reasoning, gay characters are not allowed to be funny. I think that having a show like Ossan's love is very refreshing for the BL genre and goes beyond the tired tropes such as from-enemies-to-lovers, I-hate-you-now-I-love-you, my-parents-are-against-us...

From what I know from western shows usually there is a writing team, i think 20 episodes for a single person to write would be crazy amount of work. Blaming one person for everything is not justified. I don't know if Taiwan works under the same principle though. I didn't know she was working on the movie version of crossing the line, that's cool to hear. Anyways, if they can't afford her, they can't afford her, maybe someone new will come with fresh, interestung ideas. It's an anthology series after all.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked ep.6. They had some really nice outdoor shots, vibrant scenes and pretty colors. Compared to the mess called Until we meet again, which was filmed by someone holding the camera for the first time, DBK could give a master class :p Only the ending was disappointing, the whole slow motion when Non appeared with the zooming on their faces, was like some mexican telenovela shit when the evil stepmother appears, i literally laughed! The kid did nothing, the dramatic music for his appearance was not justified haha :)

While I respect her version of events, Chen Wen Hao killing himself at the grave of his only true love was a damn fine romatic moment (and I literally cried which i never do). Additionally, Tang-Yi going to prison for the crimes he commited was justified, so in my opinion the ending was perfect! I think this is a much better ending that the cookie-cutter she proposed they lived happily ever after and they visited his parents haha She does have good, original ideas for BL shows though, I hope she gets another chance to write a good BL story.
