Mmm... It was an interesting concept for a movie, definitely original, however I feel like it did not live up to the potential. Everything seems too sudden, too illogical, first the teen idol is a total diva, then he changes to the most dedicated method actor in a couple of scenes after receiving one acting book as a gift. He takes it so far to almost kill himself during the play. Just for this one role. It required a bit too much suspension of disbelief for me.

At the same time Bohn is a douchebag, so he probably wants that 'do everything for me' which means 'cook for me, because i can't even fry an egg properly' :p

My interpretation was that Bohn wanted sweet, nice Duen back, since Duen has been very confrontational with Bohn ever since that top/bottom conversation. Bohn just didn't want to fight with him anymore, especially not at the beginning of their relationship. From a plot structure viewpoint, My engineer is more sophisticated than any other current BL show, it makes sense, there is enough background info on the characters, it takes effort to keep the original rom-com vibe going, and not devolve into melodrama, gives enough space for development of secondary characters, the cast is super cute, even from a technical perspective it is very nicely done... How this show is not more popular is the biggest mystery.

There were so many hints that it is not one sided. King added him first on FB, gave him a venus flytrap, a pencil, test results, help with homework, teased him about liking him, wanted a photo with his tattoo. If these are not hints that someone likes you, call me Tine and put me under "dumb posts from MDL" on instagram :p

According to youtube comments, Mek's final scene was the exam in episode 10. I guess we won't see him anymore. Who knows how they will continue the MekBoss storyline.

According to Lazy Subber who made an extensive post on Facebook on this topic, this is not true, she even made a timeline with pictures from each cast change, there is one picture from Saint and Kao from the audition, but she claimed they were never actually considered. I would believe her, she seems to really know things when it comes to Thai BLs.

I think him not being at the barbecue is a sign that he won't be around much longer. I might be wrong, we shall see. The story was ridiculously short and nonsensical, because they apparently butchered the original material. Mark's friends get the award for most annoying friends in BL. However, there is something with this War guy, he has great charisma, and can convey emotions with just his face, i do actually think he is talented. Would be great to see him again in another show.

Well, annoying jealousy subplots are now a hallmark of GMMTV writing, have you seen Dark Blue Kiss? The most contrived, dumb plot ever. Same thing in Theory of Love, but to a lesser extent.

I love this show so so so much! Everything is so perfect and the plot makes sense, and Bohn and Duen are very funny. This show deserves to be so much more popular, it is really on another level of quality. I literally have nothing to complain about episode 10. I hope we don't have to wait a long time for season 2.

It's not true, Saint and another BL actor auditioned for the roles, but they were not chosen. There is a post on FB from Lazy Subber that details all the cast changes from the beginning until now.

No surprise there, people act all high and mighty here in the comments, but most are probably as twisted and evil as the characters on this show.
