just finished watching. it's engaging stylistically and performance wise, the acting is great especially SHK.…
Yeah! but if it had been a continuos 16 epi normal kdrama than this much development would've made perfect sense. Looks like they tried to do something diff w this. and honestly I like the gap, or else I'd have inhaled the whole thing in a day. but 3 months is a long stretch! can't wait!
jaejoon trying to take away yesol from yeonjins husband was a bit... hm. out of character?
that is perfectly in line with his character I would say. He is an evil man who bullied others even when they owed him nothing, and now that someone has something which is his own, then ofcourse a man like him would try to take the kid by hook or by crook.
I am quite confused about this drama whether to watch it or not......Can anyone tell me does this drama show too…
Honestly, the first 2-3 eps have major voilence and truly horrible stuff happening to young FL a highschool kid and as a strong willed person I had a hard time watching those and skipped some too. also even in further eps, some past bullying instances crop up in between present scenes so theres that. No use sugarcoating you to watch this, its very extreme and thats why on OTT n not cable. You can skip the whole drama or skip those scenes, your choice!
The plot is similar to ‘EvE’ but Eve is boring, especially when they try to link to Spain. I could stand for…
seriously! the cliffhanger is killing me already! I feel Do Yeon is even crueler than Yeon Jin and be like 'why didn't you finish her off well?' and be on Yeon Jin's side. This drama handles revenge so much better than any other drama, now we will see Yeon Jin actively attacking Dong Eun after realising how dedicated Dong Eun is to destroy her. Can't wait for s2!
The Glory is the drama that 'Eve' wanted to be! This one is honestly the best drama of 2022. The plot is nothing new but the way it is treated is way more raw and real. While I was watching The Glory, I kept thinking about how 'eve' was also a revenge-oriented drama but it failed to connect with me as much as the glory did. the past scenes in the beginning eps truly make you feel hatred toward the bullies and root for Dong Eun even if that meant killing them. and the way the romance is there but subtle and the way even the attraction from Do Yeon is used to create more mystery about the ending is what I want from a thriller drama. I've a small quip though, although I liked the majority of how Dong Eun goes about avenging her bullies, but her being physically powerless every time she meets the bullies and threatens them is very naive. Every time she met Myeong O or the gang alone, my mind would go to how easily she could be overpowered if they lost their temper and killed her there and then. I mean killing a nobody is not gonna be a big deal for these rich bullies. So training in some kind of martial arts or keeping a gun with her is not so bizzare. the physical powerlessness of Dong Eun annoyed me. the revenge planning in 'My Name' is a good example for that when Han So Hee knows how to fight if it comes down to it.
Wow! I thought AoS would win by significant margin coz it was more recent n obviously very great, pleasantly surprised to see Bong Soon couple is stilled considered the best when it comes to chemistry. 💗💗💗
I felt the same. In Kyung's behaviour is like a teenager. How can you expect your sister to be ok with you after…
yeah, her straight out asking that question had me shocked. what impact did that stunt even have on their investigation, except killing off their side of the people? being too emotional is understandable, but reporters are not so stupid as to show their cards to everybody.
I see lots of comments disliking the third sister whereas it's the second sister I'm starting to dislike even…
I felt the same. In Kyung's behaviour is like a teenager. How can you expect your sister to be ok with you after that party scene? idk if any sane person will do that to their sis. So far, I only like In Joo and In Hye plot, I watch In Kyung on 2x. In Kyung's plot may be crucial but the way they have handled it is very annoying, I dont like her male lead too coz I hate people who meddle in others biz and he is literally doing the same from the 1st epi. Their whole track honestly annoys the hell outta me, like why is he tagging along everywhere w her when him getting involved into all those things makes no sense at all. Love Nam Ji Hyun but can't tolerate In Kyung track.
story discussion- join in! Did you guys think they were that poor, I felt their 'we are so poor' talk was a lil too much considering they just had 2.5mil for their sis's Europe field trip. I agree the mum shouldn't have stolen the money n ran away w it, but sending your sis abroad while they are that poor is kinda stupid. and how did you feel about In Joo just coming out n embarrassing her sis like that, I felt getting the money wasn't so bad, they were paying her for the portrait(b4 they f-ing stole it) just felt In Joo is too up on her moral high horse(cab scene), when she is gonna do a complete 180 in the next epi. ps- can't wait for an In hye meltdown bcoz she is keeping everything inside her and I can feel it coming.
I watched the 2 eps n it's quite intriguing how they are inspired by the book. very good first 2 eps though, Vincenzo director doesn't disappoint, the shots were amazing. The intro was too good!

those type of parents are the worst tbh.
