I enjoyed this, but I have questions about it that I hope someone can answer. The English subtitles weren't very clear so they made it extra confusing for me.

At the end, I don't understand the logic that Po Xiao having guilt for Feng Ren's death would lead him NOT to do evil, and instead to share the Heart Sutra with everybody thereby bringing peace? I thought that would lead him to have desires (for Feng Ren to be alive again, or something) and possibly lead to evil??? I also don't understand the thing about Po Xiao forgetting Feng Ren's death anniversary. Did he actually forget about it until his son brought it up? The guy at the dinner table talking about his friend being poisoned by his wife and murdered but he talked to him ..... huh??? Did his friend fake his death, and did that have something to do with Feng Ren, or did it just make Po Xiao think of him?

When they dig up the grave, they say the body is "intact," which doesn't make sense because it should be missing an arm. Was that simply supposed to mean "the body is still here"? Did Po Xiao think that Feng Ren faking his death could have involved being able to wake up again after being dormant for a year? Is that what the story of the dead friend who was "murdered" with poison was about?

Also before he "died," when he said he was poisoned so he was going to die anyway, why would Po Xiao have believed that? Was he attacked with a poison weapon? Where could the poison have come from?

And, why did Feng Ren wait until they were old and gray to show up again? Was there actually any reason he needed to do that? (Was he still a wanted man, even after Po Xiao shared the Heart Sutra and brought about peace in the pugilist world?)

Does anyone know how users in other countries would be able to watch on WOWOW? Or do you think we will have to wait for someone to download it and make fan subs? I just hope this won't be too difficult for international viewers to see. I'd love to pay for WOWOW streaming service if I can do so from another country!

I just wondered if there was a reason to have Zhiguang do it, and not another actor. I had a theory about Ruan Lanzhu actually being modeled after Gao Dawei (but maybe like..... an ideal version of him that doesn't hurt or betray Ling Jiushi.) That doesn't totally make sense but what's new lol

Are you sure? I thought that constantly covering his face was a red herring, and it's not actually Xia Zhiguang. I found a site called DramaWiki which credits Li Yuan as Gao Dawei.

There's an interview with Xia Zhiguang where they show him a picture of him in makeup (it might have been an edit from the Internet, I don't know) which is supposed to be him as Ruan Baijie, and they said he looks like Dilraba! so you are right on the money lol
