I dont need perfect characters, its actually quite the opposite, I'm only interested in a drama when the characters feel real, and JE really does feel real, he's the main reason this drama is so different. Cause he's a massive manipulative ass, probably full of insecurities that help him justify his actions to himself. I'm only on episode 4 but it already feels pretty obvious to me, so reading so many people defending him... its actually very fringhtening. Is he upfront with his feelings ? Well, if you put it litterally, then, yes, he does tell Na Bi he's not into a serious relationship, but then he goes and send twisted signals with him being possessive, treating her like she's special, hot and cold and crap, and always coming back for more when he surely can tell that she's already emotionnaly hung up on him. And that makes him a narcissistic pervert. Cause what can she say ? Blame him when he always did tell her the truth ? Thats how you make someone feel like an hysterical fool while playing with their mind and emotions to get what you want, and painting yourself as an honest good person. JE is not a good person, cause if he was, he will distance himself from her, seeing they are not into the same thing. There will probably be some scenes to excuse himself in the future episodes, but nothing can excuse manipulating someone to get sex and attention without bothering to worry about their wellbeing and integrity, no matter how vocally honest you are.

thats funny how the drama's ending has satisfied so many, and left so many others disappointed at the same time, while the arguments for both sides being equally solid. Only for that, its a great drama, in my opinion. I was hoping for a different "deeper" ending myself but kind of knew from the start it would be a good ending, cause for starters, well its kdramaland, and people for the majority hope for an happy ending -and what is more natural, honestly ? Its a little too cliche for me, and I would prefer a more bittersweet ending, as it would be more meaningful to me with this kind of story but at least, it left me a smile on my face. So, overall, a great drama nontheless.
