i cant believe they asked for honesty and DM was ready to face the criticism but then DS gets all up on HJP's face as if Dal Mi is some child. DM unlike DS can take criticism and i feel like it highlighted a really bad trait of DS especially as a boyfriend and as someone in a relationship. not to mention he went looking for a fight and assaulted HJP, who was rebuffing him until he threw the first punch. tbh what was more freighting was how DS laid into HJP while on the ground, if HJP wasn't able to get back up and push him away he would have kept punching him like crazy.
also whether intentional or not, dropping the truth about grandma really does come off as emotionally manipulative.
Im waiting for some self awareness and self development where these toxic traits are being addressed, if it doesn't and gets romanticize, i cant imagine DS x DM relationship surviving off screen in the future. I mean he's the ML so why is the 2ML getting his self reflection moment of the harshness of his words.
his all things that you should not have a in a partner, the red flags are everywhere but i can see how easy it may be to miss it or for it to get romanticized as proof of love and passion. Internally his a mess, even more so then the guy who's been an orphan all his life.
There should have been two seperate love lines and no triangle at all. Dal Mi with Do San and Ji Pyung with In…
that would have been better or at least show the love triangle but start to weave in In Jae and Ji Pyung potential, could also be good character growth for In Jae. i mean there is 6 more eps but i doubt they will do that.
I wonder how this drama will end, will it be like a fairytale or be more bitter sweet. I'm curious as to how Kang Tae and Moon Young's relationship will develop in a way that doesn't become too one sided, or toxic or where Kang Tae becomes a care taker once again except this time its to moon young. I'm interested to see how they navigate in being in a relationship together because i wouldn't say its easy with someone who has ASPD.
I did like ep 10 better but it has still similar problems as before. I give props to KGE, her crying and pained acting is really really good. I can see LMH trying with his acting especially in emotional scenes but it gets drowned by the other actors who are just so much better at it in this drama. All I see is his eyes get red and watery but more or less similar expressions compared against KGE, KKN or WDH and Lee Jung Jin as Lee Rim. At least stuff is happening now but the pacing, scene placements, editing, directing really need to step up. I really liked Kim go Eun and Kim Kyung Nam scene, both actors did a good job with their emtional acting and I felt a payoff between them.
I wish I could feel their deep love and that sadness/pain that Tae eul felt at the end but it's shame they didn't do a good job with the love story.
Feels like Shin Jae(Kim Kyung-Nam) and Yeong( do-hwan) are really the ones shinning in this drama and are the more fun and interesting characters. That fight scene between them was great that I wish it was for longer. Sucks that the prime minister character is being wasted on her just chasing after Lee Gon and Lee rim is making brief appearance here and there when he could be used better especially as the actor is really good.
This is a very good drama for me, l love the delivery of the storyline, cinematography, architecture and the casting…
It's not that it requires a lot of thinking or its too intellectual for some, it's trying to be smart but it's not written well and is not cohesive, there are plenty of "smart dramas " /movies that require thinking and is considered smart and intricate out there and on netlfix, people can keep up and think. Kdrama aren't just fluffy, there are those that require thinking that a poplar and critically praised. At the end of the day it's just not written up to standard
I wonder why such a powerful support cast (dohwan, eunchae, kyungnam and jungjin) is needed if you are not going…
Feels like do hwan is just eye candy at the moment, we are barely getting jung Jin, eunchae's as the prime minister is disappointing in how she is written. Shin Jae has depth out of all the characters which is a silver lining, but it's in little scenes here and there. Usually I would let it go with that since it's obvious the main leads would get all the attention but despite the focus they have been getting they still feel underdeveloped as characters as well as their romance.
This is LMH first drama in 4 years, he seems out of practice. Don't get me wrong I really like him but to place…
All the actors in this drama are much stronger actors them him, so it can definitely show his weakness in acting. Yeah not feeling that kiss, I don't like one sided sudden kisses, cause the other person is always blank faced so it's weird.
