Third couple wasn't really a couple as they didn't have the guts to make a story where the slightly overweight girl actually has an attractive love interest that likes her back. Even the imaginary kiss scenes were a cop out as they were filmed in such a way to not actually show much of anything. So in the end the so called message of how she didn't need a man to feel happy or complete, while certainly true, just felt like a weak way to end her story without actually having a girl with less than the ideal standard of k-beauty get to be a romantic lead.

I almost wish I could rate this drama's episodes separately. For me the first couple was meh. Second couple made the drama with their great chemistry and using one of my favorite tropes. I'll put my third story opinion in a spoiler.

Totally agree. It's nice to see him more animated. It's funny how the drama snuck in a shirtless scene as soon as he was staying at the FLs home.

I held out for as long as I could before finally watching 4. So much fun seeing a more vulnerable Orad, and I continue to enjoy the wonderful slow reveal of the dramas world and our leads past relationship. Despite their length these episodes go by so fast! Now I'm going to go rewatch all the cute moments.

I loved that too. The last 10 minutes of three were so good. The FLs acting at the very end was exceptional. Their relationship is so much deeper than it first appears going back over 20 years.

I have less of a problem with the whole dating my step brother/sister if the couple meet when they're older like as teenagers or young adults, and it's clear that they don't see each other as related. It gets a little squicky when they were literally raised as siblings.

Same. I usually avoid sad endings like the plague, but this one sucked me in. In the end I don't regret watching this. It was a good drama.

That really got me when Shiyi said almost the same thing in the last episode. " You lived your whole life with no wife and no children. And for what." In the end it didn't matter.

"Zhousheng Chen, I've come to marry you. I'll take your silence as a yes." Waahhh, I just finished this tonight and this drama definitely had me in tears a few times. That's ok though. A good cry is cathartic. A really solid, well-acted drama that kept my attention throughout, and introduced me to some great characters. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind not getting the HEA.
