I really loved the couple and the 2 actors Ji Sung and Eugene's chemistry but everything else in the story was…
I don't understand why they had to make Eun Soo get hit by the car drove by Tae Min and she's paralyzed. I had to go back and see if I missed something if she lost her memory too. I was wondering why she didn't just call Hyun Woo. So like we got another separation plot for the couple again in the last episode. That moment I just wanted the drama to speed up and end already
I really loved the couple and the 2 actors Ji Sung and Eugene's chemistry but everything else in the story was frustrating or not as interesting to me. The soundtrack was nice. First 5 episodes were pretty good. Then it's makjang and long because there's 20 episodes. I would have dropped if it weren't for the will to see the leads end up together. I fast forward through the typical frustrating stuff until.
I'm reading the synopsis and thinking hmmm maybe this time the FL is the mast and the ML is the disciple when they mentioned roles reversed. I checked the cast of the characters and am a bit disappointed to see it's the common ML as master/FL as disciple.
Ep 5: It only took until episode 5 where he regained his memory. I wished he wrote down a note to Eun Soo about…
Ep 6: It's just one episode after he's back with his family and memories but I can already feel the pain of trying to watch this now without Eun Soo being with him.
Ep 5: It only took until episode 5 where he regained his memory. I wished he wrote down a note to Eun Soo about where he went. So now Hyun Woo lost his memories of Eun Soo. You'd think since this is a 20 episode drama, they at least do the recover his memories part at the halfway point(ep 10). Let's see how long until he remembers Eun Soo and they reunite.
Ep 27: Qing Feng died. I was really into the drama when his character became more featured. I liked the brotherhood with Fan Yue. I think I am realizing I actually don't like the romance in this drama at all. Unpopular opinion but the 2 leads/characters don't have chemistry to me.
Just dropped this after episode 28. Just not interested anymore.
Ep 24: I think Chen Ye/Qing Feng became the best character. I very much sympathize with his past. He's fascinating I wish he was the main villain. I like his character more than the other 2 disciple of the cold bright palace as well as his story is better than that love story of the other 2 they trying to build.
So far I'm around the halfway point(ep 22). The drama is fine. Although I can sense the pace being kind of slow for me. I wished there was more action. I got hyped up earlier on when Fan Yue was fighting the eternals and their leader. I want to see the demon king fight more!
The ML and FL are already a couple and like eacher on good terms. Eh I'm not the biggest fan when they put them together while there's still lots of episodes to go.
I think the cold bright palace master is gonna end up as the final boss. I'm not impressed of this character so far.
Ep 22: OK that's a interesting plot twist. The FL's long lost sister and the ML's long lost brother are both the 2 top disciples of the Cold Bright Palace(aka top evil clan).
I don't understand the appeal of shipping a evil couple in dramas where at least one of them is a evil person. Fu Ling started that virus, killed off eternal students/forced Chong Zhao to kill them, and cut off fox tails. I can only see it if one of the evil person slowly changes their actions because of the other they fall in love with. It's not going that route here.
Tease them moments and play the sad soundtracks when they are having their moments, I couldn't care. They're evil beings.
R u talking about the scene where FuLing attack BaiShou? She can’t kill BS, because a fatal attack would trigger…
I know she shouldn't kill her now. I just thought a better way to unleash some of your anger to hurt her instead would be at her leg than her shoulder.

No it was the scene where they got Fu Ling tied up. Bai Shou enters the room and is filled with rage wanting to kill her. She ends up stabbing her around the shoulder. Someone comes to help her escape. She manages to outrun them even with a wound in her shoulder
Just dropped this after episode 28. Just not interested anymore.
