Bai Jing Ting absolutely nailed his role as Sang Yan and there is no lie in that. He came out straight from the novel. I feel sad for him too actually but I love how even though he went through that experience his feelings for her never wavered and stayed throughout the years, you can tell he loved her so genuinely. I can't wait for these two to get together.

don't worry we will get to that part soon enough, he does really bring out the brighter side of Yi Fan! they are so meant for each other

I actually read the novel and I agree we might get to see their official romance start around 20-ish episodes because there is also the chasing part that will happen. I suggest you look forward to this part, this one is my fave part in the novel it's really good to see the reversal. I'm just hoping they continue making the drama satisfactory just like the first few episodes released it did justice to the novel.

yes that's exactly why I had loved that part in the novel, I re-read it twice then haha and now it is coming to fruition we will get the actual scene soon and i'm hoping the execution will not disappoint. I hope they include as much details of what was written in the novel in the drama. In the drama we might get it somewhere around episode 20-ish.

I wanna smack them for having such dumb logic and defending the assaulter. The whole family deserves jail time idc even her mother deserves to be put in jail for neglecting her own daughter. Falling off the cliff sounds good but I want them to rot for how nasty they are.
