Yumama is used to it. He's China's Troll of the Century. I think he actually likes the attention. A bit of a masochist. I think he got more hate when he casted Michelle Chen as Xiaolongnu. According to him, the pregnancy is fake and Rong Zhi and Xue Yun never consummated their "marriage". I don't know we can believe his words tho - he seems confused most of the time. hahaha.

Agreed. He's using Xue Yun as a shield. He purposely took Chuyu to see the queen because he knew. He provoked Xue Yun by staying the night with Chuyu. I loled when he was like I'm sorry to Xue Yun. It's like right...uh huh. He even put up the act in front of Xue Yun's father. I'm betting Xue Yun was never pregnant to begin with.
Oh Dong Gong - I heard it wasn't a happy ending so I never bothered reading it. I guess we'll see if it'll resemble Dong Gong. I wonder why Yumama went the memory lost route - tho I'm fairly certain (or I want to be) that Rong Zhi's memory is in tact. Chuyu however I think doesn't have her memory. Yumama claims no memory loss so maybe they're both just pretending for some greater scheme.

Rong Zhi is pretty resourceful so he probably already knows or aware that she has amnesia. I wonder if he had a play in her loosing her memory. Towards the end of ep 16, he was asked, what if she doesn't remember you, and his response alluded to the fact that he would use a much more drastic method to imprint him into her heart.
Another scene would be the one where he's waiting for her carriage - did you see how happy he looked? I wouldn't associate that face with "Xue Yun, you're the only one I want." I also think Song Wei Long is a bit green. If given to a more experienced actor, maybe it would be more apparent, or we'll be able to tell more easily.
I love the difference between him rushing to save Chuyu and him reacting to Xue Yun falling into the water. It's freaking hilarious. I replayed it a few times.
It's confirmed he's using her, especially the scene between him and his sister and him and the female general. Man, Rong Zhi is busy managing the lies between the two women. I wonder if he ever gets confused. Both actresses are very pretty but they look the same to me. I got so confused initially watching the previews.
I never finished the novel. It was a little too long. I tried listening to the audio while working and it got distracting. We can't really compare novel Rong Zhi to drama Rong Zhi. This Rong Zhi has gotten through Yumama processing. lol.
love the scene when she pushed her bwahahahaha. He totally didn't loose his memory. When she almost felt off the swing, you can see his expression. I think his memory is intact.
Maybe Rong Zhi will redeem himself. Some fans on Weibo are saying it's because Rong Zhi is being controlled by his sister so he has to pretend to have amnesia and is using the other two girls to gain control of the court.
