I feel like it's not the character but the script. Whoever is writing the script is being inconsistent. For someone who wants to go into the beauty/cosmetic industry, they would know how anal they are abt appearances. Even if they don't want to put on make up, they would at least wear something else to an interview. I don't know what the director/script writer is trying to say with that particular scene. It almost feels like they're trying to shove this idea down our throats. CC is obviously attractive make up or no make up. They need to execute this using another approach. I'm not really getting it lol. And when they try (hence interview scene), it doesn't add up logically. It feels forced.

I'm glad shifu's three students and his two assisants (?) survived. I was getting nervous someone was going to die at the last fight scene. This is one of the few where the main supporting cast stayed intact till the end.

I was super overwhelmed by the saving troupe. I think what they wanted to show was a traumatized and beaten by life FL but the execution is a hot mess and makes it appear at least to me as I watch this, FL cannot live without the ML and the ML is like some kind of talisman to wear off evil.

This is the longest happy ending I have seen. We usually get ( if lucky) a 30 second HE lol.

I'm glad they didn't give us run of the mill ML. I'm so done with those, esp those righteous MLs 🤡. I rather have a ML that will burn down your house if you cross him.
