I badly need a couple of nice fluffy episodes:
1. One episode of bromance of ZYC and ZYZ
2. Another episode with adventures of ZYZ and LL
3. An episode of romance between ZYZ and WX

With every episode I'm getting more and more impressed with Minghao's acting. His expression of utter shock and grief as he saw his best friend (now enemy?) die in front of his eyes. We can all agree that ZYZ's role is a tricky one. He is this morally grey, wise character with a sense of humor but deep sadness in his heart. Such a character is difficult one to pull off.

She said that she's going to meet the Prime minister to ask him to pardon ZYZ and then goes all goth princess lying down on road. I was so confused there lol.

That makes sense to some extent. I agree that humans detach themselves and go on autopilot to carry on their work. In this case, repairing Baize token is certainly a priority for them given that they are on limited time with ZYZ's powers going haywire.

Yes, I'm pretty sure ZYZ glances at those leaves. In Ep 19, ZYZ already knows about the identity of the masked man as BJ's master. The team must be doubting BJ for a while, There's so much evidence against him - the fish scale armor men who attacked them in Kunlun, the elixir for plague that BJ was able to derive from "dead tree", and so on. Very likely WX's step dad is in the plan as well given how insistent he was about killing ZYZ in Ep 19.

It is implied towards the end of Ep 19, when BJ's master tells ZYZ that he's been poisoning him and therefore he's losing his five sense, and then the camera pans towards BJ dressed in all black.

I agree. ZYZ is extremely smart and observant. I'm sure he has some plan about Bai Jue in place. He noticed those green leaves that BJ left behind while shielding PSJ from CH.

About disconnect, I still hope that they will address it in the coming episodes, instead of behaving as if it didn't happen. That dialogue between ZYZ, WX and ZYC addressed it to some extent where they tried to convince him that he needn't think about dying all the time.

So many things happened in today's episodes. Going to write down my thoughts.
1. This confirms that Bai Jue is in cahoots with the 3 masked man (with that being his master). I don't think most of us are surprised. What I didn't know is that he's been poisoning ZYZ.
2. in Ep 17, everyone in the squad were uncomfortable with ZYZ after what happened in Ep 16. Now it feels like they are back to working together seamlessly again. Seemed a bit of disconnect there. I atleast wanted ZYZ and WX to have some conversation.
3. We got more backstory about LL and ZYZ!
4. That ZYZ X PSJ scene was amazing! So was LL X ZYZ X ZYC fight. Finally WX proved to be useful and used her wits!

I also drop dramas if I get bored very quickly. So far FOF has kept me excited. This is my first time encountering toxic c-drama fans. 😅

I'm eagerly waiting for the coming episodes. I am very curious how the group dynamics will change with everything that happened in Episode 16 and 17. I hope they will give more background on Li Lun's story. I'm even more curious about ZYZ's story too. Why did the blood moon start affecting him 8 years ago? Also, now that Li Lun is free, will he still go all out seeking vengeance from ZYZ? So far I'm thoroughly enjoying this drama, and they will hopefully keep the momentum.

To lighten up the mood here:

I want ZYZ to share his hair care routine. His thin silver hair turned into very thick long black hair with few silver strands as he aged. I also want to reverse my premature grey hairs and have a head full of thick long hair. 🤗

Besides, HMH, TJR was amazing today's episodes. He did so well in showing that internal struggle of fighting with a friend and brother, but also someone who's killed his family in the past, and might kill him and his friends if he doesn't act quickly. That lone tear when he tells ZYZ to snap out of it. 💔

I do hope that WX's character become stronger. Her character isn't adding much at this point except being ML's love interest and carrying half the Baize token. She needs to be more useful. I understand she's a human and therefore weak, but even PSJ is human and she's trying to be useful.

The latest two episodes are so good! ZYZ is such a tragic character. Hiding his depression under his charade of being a clown. That's such a commonly seen trait in people who are depressed too (I can relate :/). Overall, I'm blown away by Minghao's acting. He's improved so much. I have seen some of his past dramas, and honestly wasn't blown away by his acting. In the latest episodes, he pulls off that childhood naivety while also later showing the maturity of someone who's struggled so well. My heart was breaking for him.

Also, he looked divine in today's episodes.

True. I hope that FOF avoid all those tropes. So far they have avoided many of this tropes common elsewhere - though one trope that is becoming a bit predictable at this point is that everyone is in cahoots with Li Lun.

I like how ZYZ and WX are comfortable with each other, and have honest and candid conversations. In Ep 15, when ZYZ has heart ache, WX asks why and he honestly replies that its because he broke the clause in contract. In other cdramas, ML would hide this and FL lead would have kept on wondering. These honest conversations between them is refreshing.

Meanwhile I'm more worried about whether ZYZ and WX can even be together in the first place because of that contract he signed initially.

Now that we are one-third into the drama, here's me really hoping that they will keep the momentum and continue to keep the story interesting. This is the point where many cdramas go off-track and start losing the plot.

Help! I'm too obsessed with this drama. Last time I liked a cdrama to this extent was LLTG.

I realized something while re-watching episode 1. Zhu Yan says that one cloud light sword is not enough to kill him. Later in episode 10, we get to know that there are two cloud light swords forged from antlers of Yinglong. This probably means that he's looking for the other one so that ZYC can finally k!ll him. 😭
