Bigger action and non stop excitement!
A Shop for Killers season 2 takes the adrenaline to another level. The action scenes are way more intense and brutal compared to season 1, making it such a fun and easy binge. While season 1 was mostly about the mystery behind Murthehelp, season 2 goes all in on taking down Babylon. Season 1 still takes the cake for me because of that original setup, but season 2 trades some of that mystery for bigger world building and direct conflict. Honestly it was super exciting and a really good watch overall.

Started off strong but fell flat in the end
I was very excited to watch this drama when it was first announced because of the cast. I had seen them in previous works and liked them. The first episode was intriguing and I was excited, but then the story just started going downhill. A random kiss in episode 4 after a 15-year separation made me pretty pissed—like, where was the angst? It was like there was no emotional weight to their long separation. There were also lots of plot holes and subplots that were not resolved, fell through, or added nothing to the story. To be honest, the second leads carried the show, and their storyline was one of the only reasons I rated it a 7.5. Overall, it's a pretty mid show with nice visuals, but the story just couldn't carry it.Was this review helpful to you?
So so badd
I was excited for this drama because of Chae Jong-hyeop and because I had seen him in previous works. I thought it would be good, but boy, I was very wrong. Honestly, the only saving grace here is the gorgeous scenery. In the beginning, they try to set the tone of a fun, lighthearted drama, which I usually enjoy, but the opening parts are just incredibly messy. The way they speak is just so cringe and annoying, plus the acting is so bad. On top of that, new characters pop up basically every episode. The characters are completely one-dimensional with no personality traits other than just being 'fun.' It feels like the writer just copied and pasted the same personality onto all of them. I genuinely don't know why CJH would agree to a script like this. Overall messy, low-quality, and bad.Was this review helpful to you?
