i think this is a habit of Korean production editing they like to spice things up even if its just from the exaggerated…
Only it backfired to them because this is a sports entertainment after all and soccer is a big thing in Korea. I think they got too much backlash because their audience do mind the process of how the teams win or lose. Also, the fact that the show marketed itself with ‘200% authenticity’ certainly didn’t help them after the audience realized things are being manipulated for the sake of ratings. Anyway, I sure do hope the show can get back on track.
I think they would delay this and not air this week since SBS finally took action and changed the whole production crew for the show. I’m not sure if they are gonna air a special though showing the original sequence of matches that involved goal sequence manipulation (i.e. FC National Team Family vs FC World Class in S1; FC Gavengers vs FC Actionistas in S2; and FC Giants vs FC Wonder Woman in S2).
Oh! I just knew that the show is facing a controversy because they manipulated the goal order. FC Giants were in control with 5-0 first half. Yet to make it seem like the other team was trailing closely behind, they changed the goal order (first half ended 3-0 —> 3-1 —> 3-2 —> 4-2 —> 4-3).
People are furious with the production as they were deceived with the whole ‘authenticity’ facade. They also noticed how this season seems to be all about FC Wonder Woman and how they are putting up a narrative that seems to favour this new team so others felt sorry for FC Giants because their performance was not fully showcased in the episode (I mean, they did dominate the first half so as a fan of FC Giants, I can’t help but agree with people about how the production robbed them off their moment). SBS already apologised but now, everyone demands the production to release the full match (unedited) and for the show’s PD to step down his position.
Wow! They edited the synopsis and it’s now more interesting. I just saw the teaser from Eye’s account and it’s looking cute! I hope they would release this lakorn soon!

I just googled it now because I didn’t know Honey’s life outside her works. Turns out the timeline is that they broke up in June 2020 then YKS got married this August and now Honey, this December (so no issues at all).
Anyway, I don’t think it’s weird if they decided to get married even though they just met a few times (considering it has been a year already since her breakup). I remember watching a show where actor Choi Min Soo and his wife, June Kang, were featured. And he said he asked for her hand in marriage just three hours after he met her. It’s still a fascinating thing to discover but like they are happily married until now so that’s that. Haha :)
