I can’t wait to see her role as Zhen zhen in Bleaching playing a victim of kidnapping and eventually a police officer.

Seems like its going to be a 16 episodes drama as per weibo but lets see if it retain it after production cut and censorship review

And after finish shooting “Bleaching” she will attend her graduation day in June or July. Lets hope she can rest after that

The good news is after AASOL she is getting more support from the general public and non fans who acknowledge her talent

Although there still no official announcement, mai mai already join the crew in Harbin today (16/2/2024) and start filming. So it’s confirmed she took up this project

So it ended. LYY and YG will always be in our heart. Kudos to WL and ZJM for bringing their characters to life. Their chemistry is so good that one wonder if they date irl. Hope that they can be pair up again in the near future . Also not forgetting the supporting casts and crews for a well done job. AASOL might not be the best c-drama out there but it certainly is the favourite of many. Lets support and show some love to our leads (esp jin mai, she so underrated) upcoming work and for those who are here since ep1, thanks for the comments as it make the viewing experience more fun. That aside, ppl have no idea how much hate zjm received from other actresses (esp liulangs) and cp fans in weibo. Hopefully she can handle it well as she is an introvert irl. Anyway looking forward to this drama and her other work

Lol fans in China already wishing/hoping them to be a real couple

What she always miss in her review is the intended audience of the said drama. She have to see it from that perspective too. AASOL is intended for teens/ young adults and those who want some sweetness without the usual angst from romance drama. Also I don’t get her obsession with color grading, majority of people don’t really care

From what i can see, I do agree that GP are gradually warming and pay more attention to this drama. Reception is getting better and as both leads are not liulangs its already considered a success at least in my book

Loving this drama, so sweet. Hopefully international viewers will pay more attention to zhao jin mai after this as she is so underrated . Not just a pretty face but a solid and talented actress.

Why do i have a strong feeling that it will go according to the book open ending

Probably because its not the usual typical c-drama school/youth show setting . And though the main cast, especially ZJM is well known, they aren’t that popular internationally. Its kinda sad that many are missing out on this .

Currently only good platform is on viki and mangotv app but then mangotv is not known for good subs

Another factor may be as this is rather a ‘slice of life’ / growing up and kind of realistic drama, not many international viewers will be attracted to it. I love this genre though and looking forward to more episode
