This was a total turn off for me too!!! Most of the cdrama I've been seeing always have either the FL with some insane power or always having the upper hand or some revenge plot. I couldn't even finish it.

Watched it for GJ. The FL was cute and funny but I couldn't get over how she runs in between all these guys who she knows likes her then gets mad at the ML when he gets upset about it. Accuses him of being the king of jealousy when she gets mad if he is near any other woman. He always have to apologize and get her back when she was the one who was running around town. I don't get why CD makes the males such simps. If it wasn't for this, I would've enjoyed this drama more.

Enjoyed season 1 and watching the brotherhood. As with other comments, this season could use less Ning but it was still bearable for me. I'm excited for season 2 to see and learn more of ZX background and powers. I hope S2 is brings more screentime for the brothers and more war scene.

I agree. They are both amazing in their own ways and we are lucky to even have them! Hoping China will loosen on its censorship in the future.

I'm so glad I read this. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get over scenes of his hands. It's because his hands are so beautiful!

I love this as much as I love The Untamed! I will never get over both!

I did enjoy white cat legend more than I thought I would. I liked the individual characters.

Those are my type of dramas too. Any recommendations? Untamed is by far my favorite! I've watched white cat legend and am just starting on the mysterious lotus casebook.

That is horrible. I hope she is not the reason why he doesn't have anything else coming up this year besides Dawn is breaking. He needs to make it to the big screen! He has the looks and talent for it!!

The emperor explains it all in ep 16 or 17. It was his plan all along to encite unrest with the rebels so the prince will come. He will then use them to kill each other so when the prince dies, he gets to keep his wife since the 5 year contract is almost over.

I watched this a couple times to try and really grasp what was going on. No real scenes with sml. In the 5 years married, they stayed in separate mansions and had no physical or intimate relationship. There is one scene in ep 16 or 17 where he pulls off her belt which can be interpreted in more than one way.

There's some scenes I saw floating around on social media that seems to be from SoL but wasn't in it. I wonder if they shot two different endings and picked this one instead.

Same!!!! I'm sad seeing that he doesn't have much dramas coming up this year and so far no release date for Dawn is Breaking either. I'm feeling deprived. I need more Richard!!!

I agree. I mean, I sort of understand why. She already suffered through losing him and he doesn't want her to go through it again because of his job but we want to see a HE for them too!! They need a whole spin off of just their story!

Agree. I didn't feel any chemistry between ML and FL. She's supposed to be 18 and him younger than his older brother who is 26 but the ML looks in his 40s. I couldn't get over it. Yunhan was the only reason I finished the drama.
