I love good mature BLs. Those are my cup of tea. One really good one is Life: Love on the Line (Director's Cut).…
Thank you so much, really going to check out these two especially Life: Love on the Line. id say check out The Eighth Sense, looks like its going to show a mature relationship.
When fluff is done right!!!! best way for me to sum this series up. This is well produced and acted, props to them for committing to the role, had some the best kissing scenes in a korean bl.
Even though there was a 7 year gap that was initially caused by miscommunication, I LOVED how direct, honest and communicative Ki Tae was. If this was a longer bl it would have been interesting how his direct nature would have taken the story since many times bl stories, like many romance stories, have a conflict though miscommunication and everyone in a cast forgetting how to speak lol.
Also Lee Wan being a playful tease was so cute, him wanting ki tae to experience what one sided love feels like was adorable ๐ฅฐ.
This had potential but it failed to meet it, that's the main takeaway from this. Its not bad & in the beginning its a good watch but the last two episodes, especially the last, fell flat.
In regards to the while kissing debate, the actors are from the same idol group, so maybe that's why it wasn't shown in the series.
I do appreciate the production and effort that went into making the show though, longer than the normal KBL and they tried in the production value. Maybe that is something shouldn't be praised since it wasn't spectacular but I was watching this the same time as "All the Liquors" and my goodness was that show hard to get through.
Really shows that sometimes one has to ignore the ratings on this site, I'm shocked this has a 7.9 honestly. A beautiful series that was well acted, produced, and told a nice story. Told a nice mature story which sadly you don't see often in the BL genre. Really liked a scene in the 1st episode that shows the realistic nature of a gay relationships in a conservative country, the scene in the 1st episode when fumiya introduced himself as his roommate and friend.
I really need to start looking for good mature Japanese BL, anyone has any recommendations? (could be from any country really but please nothing like the thia bls like cutie pie or love in the air)
Finished episode 14 and this show is so messy and so over the top AND I LOVE IT!!! its so campy, reminds me of an American late night soap just so over the top and extra. To anyone out there who is wondering if they should watch it cause of comments calling the show ridiculous and dramatic, THATS THE APPEAL OF THE SHOW!! give it a shot, its all about the fun in the moment. Just a little warning you will HATE some of the characters and wish for the worst to happen to them.
The productions on this is such a step up from the other bl im watching, All the Liquor lol. I enjoyed the two episodes, I just wish the episodes were longer. Don't know why Korean bl have to be so short!! will try to forget about this and come back to it after it finishes airing.
More main leads like Yeo Mi Ran (Kim Ok Bin)!!!! I love how shes such a badass that knows how to fight!! Have been searching for a romcom with this type of female lead since l got into kdrama last year so im DELIGHTED this show was exists, its like it was made for me๐ฅน
Any recommendations of dramas with this type of female lead?
I don't know, i like soo many parts of this show... expect for the main part which is the relationship between the two leads๐ ๐ i don't know if i should continue this or not cause i am so uninterested in the will they or won't they get back together but everything else is great!!
I really like the scene in episode six with Hee Jae, Sun-Jae, & Hae Yi. At first SunJae tries to ignore his older brother & walk past him you could see hee jae just stand their unsure of what to do, HeeJae even turns his head to SunJae as he walks by, but then SunJae changes his mind, greets him and introduces him to HaeYi. At first bitter but then it became somewhat sweet, i love a complicated sibling story lol.
I really can't wait to see more of hee jae backstory and his relationship with his brother. I'm such a fan of brothers and father-son relationships and i like that the show is showing us a little of the former.
