LOL, Doc ... I feel you on this. I'm currently watching it and I'm still waiting for it to reel me in. The only…
I was going to drop it but I wanted to see them get married, the main couple, I must say though, I was really surprised, in a good way with Jin Joo's character, she as an actress has played some nasty 2nd lead roles, so to see her in a positive role all the way through was great to see. I'm on the 46th episode, was taking a break from Heaven's Garden, now that could be considered much more of a family genre from this one, but it was getting a lil long. I'm barely tolerating it. BTW, long time no see, hope all is well with you.

Understood, will do so when I see something off like this, and thank you for catching that. I was basically stating an opinion, and with my ptsd condition, my memory leaves very fast, almost like dementia, or I prolly would have brought it up,
They need to take family out of the genre here, just another soap with several trashy triangles going, no child should watch this garbage, or be subjected to it, of course in my most humble opinion. As with over the top, overbearing in laws, aish, especially the family wrecker's sickeningly miserable mother, my goodness, put a sock in it,but not without taking a pill first, aish.

Yes, I lived in Japan for 4 years, he's hilarious, I've seen many, many of her dramas, they couldn't have picked better main cast than they did, I think it'll be hard to be the Japanese version. I live in Canada, in Ontario, and so it's very difficult to find live Japanese tv here, but I think I've found a website that if you're an early bird, or late owl, or all night'r, it's live stream online. isakura, I have Prospector on my tablet, but now I'm researching where to find English language Japanese tv guides, maybe Japan Times. iSakura is all in Japanese, but can get English instructions for setting it up.
Classic trianglestyle, dropped. Loved the main female lead and her boss, main lead was good too, but couldn't stomach the 2nd male lead, then the triangles, not worth rating.
I actually enjoyed this drama a lot. It wasn't perfect, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.
Does the lawyer continue to obsess over our main lead? I'm beginning ep4, and there's no end to it it seems, I'm cringing waiting for the 2nd female lead starts, hoping not, but not according to Wikipedia, I really like the female lead or it'd been dropped already. Edit: I'm at their fight after the game night the lawyer has confessed to her, I seriously can't handle even the actor himself, him and the star player at the 1st part of the series, but I can't watch it anymore, maybe if I had it on my pc, but not worth the download. Anyway, haven't seen your name in awhile, hope you're well.

Haha, I was half debating on watching it, but now I'm wondering, just to curb my curiosity, but just remembering how dark, specially the last episode, and what you're saying I'll pass on watching it, with my PTSD it would get me squeezing arms and legs with anxiety anyway, but I remember her shooting him then reading the letter, of he'd just realized himself not long before, the ending was fitting in that she wouldn't have to live messed up for the rest of her life, very dark and sado. But as I was saying in a comment somewhere I'd just remembered the detective was much older than her, didn't realize he'd adopted her as a younger sister, um, but if I remember correctly, he wasn't obsessive as the synopsis of the brother here is. Read other synopses I'd read, the Japanese version I remember he had genuine love , true care for her as an older figure, thanks for reminding me. :))) He's in another Jdrama, can't remember the series, a good cute one, but he learns he has a daughter for real, neat show, not dark at all, and the actress is very pleasant to watch.
Great chemistry between the leads, great cast, loved it but for the useless, wasteful, trash triangle, and for that reason it lost massive points for me, I could only give it 4/10, I watch to enjoy, not to be irritated. I also likedon't that there was no vindictive evil type characters, I was concerned about the housekeeper and the female director/professional violinist, but I was concerned for nothing, must say though, didn't like our main lead's friend the doctor, so could have done without his character.

I haven't seen it, but was going by what the synopsis here says, "Yoo Jin Kang also has a brother, a homicide detective named Yoo Jin Gook, with 27 years of job experience." But in the Japanese version the leads were real brother and sister, and the detective was like a father figure not a brother. I think it'll be hard to beat the Japanese version, I find the Koreans tend to botch up on remakes, at least any that I have seen, but I won't be watching this one, too twisted a story for me, I was stunned with the last episode of the Japanese version, it was like my brain just froze at that moment. Hehe, now too dark for me. :P

The ending of the Japanese version just blew me away, haven't seen it in a few years now, but very dark and twisted. Making the detective her brother in this one, in my most humble opinion just cheapens the whole story, should have been an older person who has time invested in both leads. Don't think I will be watching. Korea tends to take originals and botch them to no end.
should i start watching this? any hints about them being siblings? (if so, it's an immediate drop ._.)also, is…
A betrayal is betrayal, I haven't seen it and will wait till it's done, but I fully agree with you, kissing is a betrayal, just like a guy or gal with a significant other, hugging the opposite from the back, that shows so much affection for each other, total betrayal.
Haha, I just came here to write how for the first time I see how lead guy is smart and sweet, sees only one girl…
Most definitely not my k8nd of drama, I hate one of the main's crushing, or having a relationship with someone else other than the male lead way more than I loathe triangles, reminds me of My Love Pazzi, and Paradise Farms as 2 examples of very similar type of story. After 6 episodes and her crush is strong as ever, on to another. Too bad, the main leads seemed to have great chemistry.

I've now started the 3rd episode, he remembers her with Fondness, much like the Canadian tv movie, the older version, Anne of Green Gables, the main lead calls her carrot top because her hair was so red, but did it because he liked her, got married when they were adults. Hehe, I still call my 23yr old niece my babygirl, always did when she was born till now, now I asked her if it was okay 1st, but I'd say his affection started the moment he remembered her, I'm so hoping his brother nor his ex becomes a problem in it, I super loathe that kind of thing. It does have a great set of cast in this one, a few famous actor's/ actresses in it.

That was a childhood nickname because she WAS fat, besides she got him back for it didn't she? Besides, don't you you think it was more of an affectionate way of him liking her? In the pool he remembers her as a child, there definitely was something between them as kids, I'm just surmising as I'm just on the 2nd episode, but already I see chemistry already between the leads. Just hope there no triangles or its dropped pronto.
yeah totally agree, for me was 100% and accident not a murder, and they also said that she died from drowning…
Not a murderer, but definitely guilty of manslaughter. I felt justice was served in her case, especially when she was truly repentant of what she'd done, but the combination of being hit, and being drunk, plus the fact of her going into the water, what I'm saying is that had Chae not been there, she wouldn't have drowned. I'm in agreement it was an accidental death but caused by Chae.
Did you really see "secret" ?It is one of the more well regarded shows out there with superb performances and…
I agree, I'll watch it when it finishes airing before I watch it. I'm finding that I'm getting bored easily with this one, I tend to marathon everything I watch, but this one I'm having a hard time concentrating on it, I'll have to watch secret if I haven't already.
Very dark n twisted, darker than Time, in my most humble opinion, much more darker n twisted than Time. I found it not as good or captivating as Time thus far.
PLEASE! CAN YOU SUGGEST A DRAMA LIKE THAT? WATCHED IT 2 TIMES ALREADY IT IS JUST TOO GOOD!
Might try Time, another might be Whisper. Time was all about finding the truth, but it has a bittersweet ending, but very captivating ,at least for me.
Edit: I'm at their fight after the game night the lawyer has confessed to her, I seriously can't handle even the actor himself, him and the star player at the 1st part of the series, but I can't watch it anymore, maybe if I had it on my pc, but not worth the download.
