That's not enough sleep, did you manage to take a nap? Ah, working on your lists. It's pretty impressive already, but I can see you have a long way to go. Good Luck!

I think I know what you're talking about. (Does it have to do with the queen?) I saw the preview for ep 27, so I kind of know what to expect. I didn't read anything though, I'm trying to keep JJW as spoiler free as possible. I'm very invested in it and I want to discover the story as I go along. Ok, I'm off to Jejoonwon, I'm glad you gave me the push, I was going to wait till tomorrow for episode 27

Oh, Bladey! You are cruel! How can you keep me in suspense? You know, I was planning on catching up with PP, but that's not happening now lol.
Hmm, I brought it up before? Maybe I should try to find it. Actually, watching the episode will be easier.

I'm replying to your PM now, but I just finished episode 26 and now I have to watch ep 27! What happens? The end of 26 was so aww worthy with him calling her by her first name for the first time, but nothing bad happens to her right? Right?

Oh, and JJW. I AM LOVING IT!!! Thank you so much for recommending it! It is a beautiful story and I can't believe it didn't receive more recognition, though I'm guilty of being intimidated by its length.
I love the relationship Soek Ran and her father have so much. It's very rare to find a kdrama where the father-daughter relationship is good, let alone admirable. Her father is very modern in everything he does, and had contributed to her mentality greatly. Hwang Jung's story is also very touching. I don;t think I've ever had such strong animosity against a villain in a story as I do for anyone who has tried to mess with him. The casting was done well too, everyone, including Dr. Allen, just work together very well. and a side note, the actor who plays HJ's father also plays Ji Na's father in Padam, I didn't even recognize him, but I something felt familiar about him so I looked it up.

Yeah, any extra language you speak is useful. Ooh, Japanese is cool. HOw well can you speak it? I have wanted to learn Japanese for my long planned trip to Japan (even before I knew about their shows, lol) but never took the initiative. Yes, MDL fuels the addiction lol. Thats true, but even though we have all made our way to watching Asian dramas, we all have different stories about how we discovered them, also our past experiences that have shaped who we are play a role in the types of dramas we prefer to watch and whether or not we enjoy them. Hmm, sounds interesting, I'll take a look at it. I never got to watch movies because I'm always catching up in the dramas I am way behind on. Like Padam Padam, lol.

It does depend on the flight. But the last time I was at JFK i had to take my shoes off too and just went through the scanners, but at heathrow they had us remove our shoes and put makeup products and related items in a separate bag and open all our carry-ons, which I didn't do at JFK, so that's why it was worse. It's a little troublesome, but it won't be too bad.
The only states I have been to are NY, New Jersey, Vermont, and Massachusetts, which are also a few hours' ride away. I've had two trips to Florida cancelled, guess it wasn't meant to be, but I don't really travel within the US much. Other countries I've been to are Canada, Turkey, Spain and France. Lol, that is the best way to discover a city though. Unplanned surprises are the best.
Does it get very cold in Poland? Very true! Even though I'm on break I still have a million things to do but barely got to any of them.

Hi Skye, yes it is :D I was able to find the problem in Chrome as well, after messing around with the setting. Apparently there was an extension running in the background that conflicted with the site. After deleting it, everything went back to normal. Thanks for following up :)

but I haven't been very involved with the community and forums because I don't usually have enough time during the semesters. I feel guilty enough watching dramas during the semesters when I put my schoolwork on hold. but this is a wonderful community. Many interesting people all around the world with one thing in common, lol.

Spanish is definitely a plus to have in the US. Especially in the NY, there are many spanish speakers and employers are always looking for bi-lingual employees. Haha, I wouldn't say I speak French, at least not anymore. All I remember is the basics: name, age and the likes. I also speak Arabic and am starting to pick up on Korean, which I would love to learn someday, ti would make watching dramas so much easier, lol. How about you, any other languages?
Aw, well, it's nice to have some time off, but we have to go back someday. I'm starting to miss classes too, lol. I've been off for about a month now and I'm ready to go back.
Lol, I know! many interesting topics to discuss, and we seem to have things in common, which is great :D
I found the site through DC too. I saw the link and thought it was a great idea as I was starting to forget all the dramas I saw.

That's only a couple of months away! How exciting! That wont be too bad, at least you'll get some touring in. I love visiting new places, it's always a different experience.
The bus from canada sounds like a good idea.
The security is really not as bad as some people make it seem, at least I haven't had any bad experiences with it. The lines are extremly long to check in and go through security because there are multiple flights leaving from each terminal, but the security is pretty standard. I actually think it was worse at Heathrow than JFK.
Lol, the subs are all out now.
Yeah, a search by writers would be a great addition. I usually just use drama wiki to search for all that extra information not included in MDL, but I like the layout here better.

The variety of subjects is helpful for those unsure of what career path to take, but they can be bothersome to those who want a degree in one field. I don't really mind having taken all those classes, they broadened my knowledge by that much, but it would be nice to have the choice. Haha, yeah, I picked Spanish because I did French in high school, I thought spanish would be an easier way out, lol.
Oooh, so you were in Poland? That must've been nice for you to be back with your family. SO did your classes resume after the holidays? I completely understand about feeling out of place, I have that same feeling when I get back from visiting my country, and also when I first arrive there. It takes time to reset your mental setting to the sepecific place your at.
Yeah, the Phd prgrams in the US usually cater their curriculum to reflect the licensing exam, I'm not sure about the UK.

I noticed the subs for ep 11 are out already, but I still need to watch 10. I'm not quite sure which road the final episodes are going to take, but we still have many episodes in which everything can be resolved in, so we'll see where the writer ( Who apparently also wrote World's Within starring Hyun Bin) takes it. Yeah, that's always something I keep in mind, because many dramas outdo themselves in the earlier episodes, so we excpect more in the later eps, but they don't live up.
