EXACTLY!! i couldn't get the word "political affairs", I agree, all historical dramas have GREAT plot and potential if not for the boring politics that keep me from watching more historical dramas...like so many, tale of nokdu, Mr queen, Love in the moonlight, all are my favorite, just the only downfall is unnecessary politics and involvement of annoying old characters.
btw I was wondering if this show could've been an uncensored BL?? cuz the chemistry is so good 😭😭 like in the last episode when Kim ga on was going to blast himself with the bomb, the way kang yo han came and pinned him against the wall, THAT SCENE RIGHT THERE!! and then kim ga on hugged kang yo han, THAT SCENE RIGHT THERE!! it was definitely gay AND kang yo Han's niece KNOWS that, that's why when kang yo han woke up from the nightmare, kim ga on asked if he's okay and that moment Kang yo han slapped kim ga on's hands away, kang yo Han's niece entered and was like , "did i interrupted y'all?" LMAOOO.
oh god the way i was so so so angry in the last 3 episodes like seriously!!! BUT IT WAS SUCH A GOOD RIDE!! this show is amazing and definitely worth a try! a solid 10/10 for me

i never said it's bad...it's just hard to go on as it's dragged so much, and there are scenes which COULD'VE been cut short, it's just not bad but it's slow, the plot moves slowly, like so much could've happened in 8 episodes but the content that happened was suitable for 4-5 episodes!

How when xia sini appeared in front of Mo ran in the arms of elder Xuan Ji, the first thing he asked mo ran was did he eat? Well Mo ran did not so he ate all of xia sini's chicken soup WITHOUT asking if xia sini had his dinner.....the fact that he found the soup very salty wasn't because xia sini was a bad cook, but because he waited for mo ran for so long that the soup's moisture evaporated and only thing left in the pot was chicken and salt, the think left outside the pot was a crying, hungry xia sini....
