I totally agree. In none of the dramas I've watched that should describe a male character with a dark personality, the male character was not dark and they changed his personality a lot. Unfortunately, Chinese dramas do this a lot.Goodbye My Princess was the only drama I've watched so far that had a really gray-dark male character.

Because of the new rules.People in MDL mentioned it about that dramas that have more than 40 ep. has to air as season 1 and 2 and there must be a break apart them.

Thank you.Finally someone mentioned the most important point that the drama missed.They literally forgot to tell how Ml fell in love with Fl and explained it with only 2-3 episodes.I was hooked on the series from the first episode and was very excited about how the series will tell the change of the feelings of theML for the FL,I was curiously waiting for how their relationship would evolve from brother-sister to love.But I was disappointed when I saw that this important part of the series was handled so hastily in the following episodes.It was as if time was skipped in the script and they immediatly went from childhood period to the period they fell in love with.I would expect the ML to at least experience a conflict about his feelings for her while falling in love with the her, and I would expect the falling in love process to be longer.

I completely agree with you about poor progression of feelings of the male lead.Drama actually handled this process rather hastily, superficially and weakly and caused me to not able to develop any interest for their further romantic relationship in the second half.
