I appreciate the show front loading today with diabetes levels of sugar at the start of EP27 so that we're satisfied before ripping our hearts out during EP28. 😅BFX definitely deserves the best girlfriend of the year award. And at this point, I feel safe enough to assume that the rest of show is going to be them facing everything side by side without any of the typical cliched conflict between them.

What a turnaround from the shyly running away from before. Now this is more befitting of the legendary BFX. 🤣

Ah, I might've missed/misunderstood a few lines of dialogue. My Chinese vocabulary probably only gets me about 80-90%.

And the ladies in the show are no slouch either when it comes to smarts. BFX, FQW, and HCR are all on par with the male characters. Even BFX's little martial sister is on top of things, especially when it comes to BFX's love life, lol. It's so nice and refreshing for a show to have so many intelligent female characters.

I thought Xieyue brought soldiers intending to attack Liang because they were diverting the floodwater into QingZhou and harming their people. And FLX's dam project put an end to the floods and thus eliminated the root cause for war.

Anybody else notice that towards the end of EP26, when FLX asked Zhong Li where BFX was, he used "Feng Xi" and dropped all the honorifics/titles? It's definitely a level up in intimacy and I love little subtle details like this.

If only FLX knew about that conversation. He'd be obliged to get her a promotion or something. Secretly his best wingwoman, lol

Hmmm, why do you think he has low EQ? I find him to have very high EQ in his ability to accurately predict everybody's plans and behaviors. He's also capable of great empathy as shown with his older brother. It's just with BFX that his brain appears to go offline, lol
