yeah, I just hate that depression and grief is being used as the new noble idiocy.

Are they ever going to reveal the reason for the breakup? I was expecting some crazy makjang stuff, like her dad killing her bf's dad, or imprisoning him or something, to the point where she felt staying by his side was doing more harm than good. Her mom and sister dying on her birthday when she went to visit him and her blaming herself and running away is very unfortunate but also feels like not an adequate reason for going awol on him.

that ending tho... also, feel SO BAD for Soo Ji's character.

There was A LOT of sexual tension between Momoe and Matsuda, I'm pretty disappointed they didn't end up together at any point. Also, her seemingly asexual co-worker and the mangaka artist coworker never have their potential relationship explored. I didn't really care for the ending, although I guess it's consistent with the rest of the show, just feels very incomplete with no growth. Don't watch this expecting any character development whatsoever. Reminded me a lot of Kakafukaka, since the potential was there but the endings just as disappointing. Everyone just lingers in their toxic relationships. As always, I love that Jdramas tackle unconventional sexual relationships with some crude humor. It's a short show though running at 20 min approx (minus the opening and end credits) and only 12 ep long, so maybe not enough time to indepth explore these characters.

I hope there's a really compelling reason that she left him because if it's only because her dad got Alzheimer's then that's really lame especially after so much build-up. Also, if he's been in the dark all these years over the break-up and her whereabouts you'd think he'd have some anger and resentment towards her? I get that he pined all those years for her but you'd think he'd be more upset with her too. idk hopefully the story will reveal more. She really went overboard with that Leon movie quote. I'd be like, 'ok that's the last time I go to the movies with you.'

The ending is kind of meh.

Oh yeah, the server has been bugging lately, plus I noticed a bunch of spam comments advertising an app. So annoying. Jae Hyun would've been better off burning that card and replacing it with a new one since exactly as you mentioned, all data is easily retrievable. Anyways, let me know what you thought of the eps when you can.

It's kind of out of character that Jae Hyun's smart enough to be planning this grand take-down of his father-in-law's company for literal years but then doesn't delete his own cctv car footage? Like, wtf? what kind of lapse in judgement is that? it feels entirely like lazy writing to force an easy conflict. Since it's an infidelity drama it definitely will result in one of them going to jail for some time or some terminal illness, I can just feel it. I really hate dramas where basically everyone is in love with one of the leads and want to tear them apart. Her father probably puts Jae Hyun's father in prison or some circumstance that results in his death, since is dad is part of a labor union. They did mention something happened to his dad which resulted in him changing. I do like the parallel timelines being told at the same time, it feels more engaging that way rather than knowing their entire backstory upfront. Otherwise it has a very classic melodrama feel. I initially thought that maybe she got pregnant from Jae Hyun and that she ran away for that reason, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Wish they mentioned specifically how long they dated for. Was it for a year or even less than a year? 94 to 95? Come on characters, tell me how long you dated for!! I know you keep track. It'd be nice if there was a happy ending to this story because honestly most kdramas airing right now are so fucking grim I can't even deal.

how is Kim Nam Gil's character in this? did you enjoy his role?
