i actually hate the fact that perth had sooo many 😟😟😟 scenes as a 17 yr old and while ppl do argue that the legal age in thailand is 15 or whatever it’s still so 😨 to me. i don’t have any intention of watching love sick although i do see a lot of praise for it i just don’t feel interested in it, it’s nothing personal about the story or anything it’s just not smth i feel like watching. and yea i totally understand where you’re coming from as well ! ofc what makes me feel uncomfy doesn’t mean it’ll make you feel that way too and vice versa :)

i mean if you don’t find it strange or uncomfy then you don’t find it strange of uncomfy but i felt uncomfy seeing a kid that was most likely 15 yrs old during filming acting out these scenes 🤷‍♀️

obvi it’s not the actors or minors fault, i never said that but it’s the fact that ppl sexualize minors way too much in the industry and i feel like companies can easily avoid it by just giving them slightly more appropriate clothing.

i’m not new to bl i just pick and choose what i watch. love by chance was the first bl i ever watched and honestly there are so many issues things that i disliked about it that i would just say that it’s mid. and i don’t plan on watching make it right cuz of how young ohm was at the time and what kind of scenes he had in it. i don’t mind the characters being minors cuz the show touches on important topics for teen but it’s the fact that the actors are young that makes me uncomfortable.

they talk about a lot of important topics which really surprised me, but i feel that the issue is that they introduced these topics and then didn’t really elaborate much on it most likely cuz they had to fit in so many plot points and add in all three couples. maybe if the show was longer they would’ve been able to really explore things like bdsm and stuff but they kinda just threw it all in there. the story could’ve been alright if it had better writing and editing and more episodes :/

i just find it strange that they show minors doing these scenes we all know that teens do this stuff but actually seeing them act it out personally makes me feel high key uncomfortable but to each their own ig 🤷‍♀️

i find that it’s unnecessary to make minors wear clothes and have scenes like that esp when the show itself is rated 18+ and it also gives ppl scenes that they could use to sexualize the minors. obvi young teens do this stuff but that doesn’t mean we need to see it on video ? they could’ve casted slightly older actors to play the same characters but they casted a freshly turned 16 yr old and if you don’t find a literal child filming these scenes strange then that’s your opinion but i personally felt super uncomfortable during those scenes.
