I thought the same too Jajaja I was asking myself Is Seo Kang-Joon this good in this drama because he is like this in real life? I remember him in Roommate and like you said, he is the shy-type ( but a hidden bad boy may hide inside lol ..I wonder, with everybody from boy to girl telling him how handsome he is every 5 minutes if it has changed him ...Every girl in Roomate adored him :)

@TurkishRose I agree witth you..@Ladybritaky Such a handsome boy indeed !! I myself have been sceptical about his acting ability just like you.. ( His acting was one of the reasons I stopped watching Splendid Politics...) but I think compared to his previous roles, this part suits him the best!! His rebel and reckless act suits him perfectly..Very natural
Lol you've catched up all the episodes ? Unfortunately Il Joo is really unique and has her own way of seing the world, her own Right or Wrong and this since her lonely and scary days with her mom living in hiding..I am not trying to justify her in any way but I want to put myself in her shoes ...Furthermore, her finding her father and living tested by him ( You have to be good to deserve to be my daughter, hum, Kang Seok Hyun never really said that but she knows that's how he always felt since their first incounter and discussion..) He has those kind of expectations with her ( actually with all his kids as an ex prime-minister, everybody expects him to live up to certain standards) and the pressure that it involves might have and is still a burden on this lonely Il JOO Finally, she was and is shamed by her step-sister and brother, treated like an outsider or a beggar in her father household ..Added to that scar, the judgement of society for being an illegitimate child didn't help her have a stable and peaceful state of mind ..Only a person like her mother who really gave her love and affection without condition would have helped Il Joo find peace and forgiveness in her heart .. I try not to judge her Rather than that, I observe her jajaja I'm looking forward to how they willl make her evolve Worse or an ultimate redemption I am curious...
