At the end of the day, he spoke it into existence. Maybe he needs to say she did more things so he can speed up…
Yes!!! I remember that scene too. Back then I even didn't know Eternal Love was based on the novel First Frost. I'm so happy this novel has gotten the best of best the in both the manhua and the drama adaptation.
bai jing ting and chang ruo nan's visuals literally complement each other so well. wishing they'll be back together…
I think they're rumored to be the leads in Pinocchio (a kdrama remake) and I hope it doesn't get cancelled. ZRN's character would also end up playing a reporter again
It is based on a book written by the same author. This book is the most famous one. Hidden love has no story connection…
You bring up a good point, " He had to go through a heart break, that was another reason he could actually understand Sang Zhi so well when he thought she had a breakup and came back crying."
While we focus on how Sang Yan's heartbreak shaped to be a better man and a better lover, keeping the timelines in mind I think it also made him a better brother especially in the time of Sang Zhi's heartbreak and a better friend to Duan Jiaxu.
Watched 6 eps on Netflixβ¦ the acting seems good as well as quality of direction β¦ one thing irked meβ¦why…
I think someone (think it was @Aries) mentioned this in the comments a few days ago, SY didn't inform WYF about the keys because he needed to wait for days for his injuries to heal. I think this was also hinted in the novel as well.
I was literally listening to Midnight Rain the other day and wondering if someone is going to create an edit for…
Yes please! You might be able to make a mini edit right now with Yifan sleepwalking/Sang Yan symbolic as the sun. When you make the new edits would you mind responding and sharing here too so I don't miss it?
I'm a little confused. In ep 2 after he helped her fight those guys, it's shown that he has her key. It's shown…

Gotta say, I've been watching on Youku (RIP my wallet for the early access episodes + subscription) by screencasting…
This drama is so well done and deserve the best cinematic experience you can get. For subtitles which one do you prefer more, Youku or Netflix? and how much does the entire access cost for Youku?
There is a mix of Midnight Rain x Daylight which I hope someone uses to make an edit when we get "happier" scenes with these two and to reference the "daylight" SY is in WYF's life

I really feel for Wen Yi Fan, she has gone through a lot ever since she lost her father. Everything in her world…
Love what you shared and I'm so glad you identified the root of Yifan's pain. I kept on seeing people comment on her trauma and her SA incidents but barely anyone was commenting on the loss of her father and how that was the beginning of her pain, especially for a girl like Yifan who seemed be a daddy's girl. This girl went from being surrounded with love (never spoiled) to having to become the bigger person in every situation while maintaining her survival. I try not to label Yifan as "strong" or "weak" girl. I see her as a girl who was "courageous" and kind. I would never want her to feel the pressure of being "strong" but instead proud that she did her best even the right choices were hard to make and especially when these decisions were taking her down an unknown path.
On a positive note I'm glad they presented Xiang Lang the way that they did because it's such a jarring contrast to Sang Yan (not that we needed anymore reasons to love him). Despite (the two?) different rejections he faced from Yifan, he adjusted each time while being true to himself and being respectful of Yifan's boundaries.
