Be careful though, fame and money can change people. If he has a secret gf rn, best to say it now before it blows…
Thanks! That's good to hear. That's a good mentality to him. S2 is confirmed, so I hope he gets a bigger role. The business is brutal, and its important to put your mental health first!
Well, KSH too was going to go places, and then money and fame changed him :( Who's not to say WHJ won't change…
Good points btw. I think the issue of celebrity and their personas is a hard issue. Of course, what we see is def. heightened version of them. It would be extra sweet if the ones we admired also were good human beings too. I think it stings even more if they do more kind/romantic roles even moreso. At the same time, this idealization of celebs is another factor, and I feel these images they've to rep probably makes it hard on the actors to fake.
Yes, the West is more open on their awfulness/bad behaviors. I do wish if the defamation laws weren't as strict in Korea, that we would be able to hear some good deets on who's who there. That's why it makes me even more suspicious and curious about Korea's entertainment industry, and the veil behind it.
Sighs, I hope so too. I feel like a lot of them are very lucky that their agencies either block bad reports or its better hidden. Ah, you can really only hope they manage their private life well. Yeah, its a really sad case for her. Either way, it seems women can't win no matter what :( I wonder how many are nervous now?
I do hope in the future dating can no longer be such an issue. I do notice even though actors might lose some popularity/offers, if they do confess or admit they're dating someone, usually it goes away and people don't care as much. As long as your honest about it. As for WHJ, I hope for the best! So far, he comes across as someone dedicated to his craft, but also learning along the way. I hope he can expand further into uncharted areas, because he's more than just his visuals lol!

Good point. I'm super curious what Apple+ will bring. They seem more quality over quantity (Netflix's approach), but they give more bigger budget. Maybe not the biggest viewership, but The Morning Show/Ted Lasso has given them credibility.
Finally! An extremely high quality K-drama. Only expected Apple to deliver this. Netflix ones are good but the…
"Netflix ones are good but the VFX and tech always disappoints me." Honestly, I think its because they use Korean FX studios which don't have the H-wood budget. Dr. Brain is also using Korean FX Studios for their CGI, but the budget here is much much bigger.
Wow!!! Yess!! She's an amazing actress. Like she can emote, and not afraid to look ugly folks!! Plus, she and Lee Dong Wook have a 1 yr difference, that's the most shocking part lol.
Well they spent 40 billion won (34 million) on this, so Apple TV+ is giving Netflix a run with how much it spends.…
Nope. They do it weekly. So 1 episode per week. As Wang Thao said, for their shows they would release 3 episodes in its debut week, then after that a weekly basis. But for Dr. Brain, its weekly since this is 6 episodes.
Well they spent 40 billion won (34 million) on this, so Apple TV+ is giving Netflix a run with how much it spends. Even Pachinko is 100 billion won (85.2 million), like whew, they might take Netflix's PDs/writers/actors with how much they are willing to spend for the talents.
because of Lee Sun Kyun, i will watch it and the genre also the synopsis are totally my tea, so i having some…
Apple TV+ is more prestige adult dramas. As in the content and story is more grounded. Its considered the Indie of the streaming world, (not taking into account Apple's trillion $$ value). As for hype, unlike Netflix, they promote their shows through press calls/interviews. They don't have The Swoon that Netflix has, its a more serious approach to their works.
I'm very confused. Is this a Disney+ original series, or just a licensed Disney+ drama from one of the cable or network channels? Can anyone here answer? Thanks!
HYPED! Love seeing all these streaming services get into the Kdrama game! Netflix, Disney+ and now Apple TV+!
Same here. In the positive sense, more varied stories, better budgets, and more stories told without constraints of censorship, networks, and more. More competition breeds more innovation.

Likewise. Good points made! I hope so too. Of course, its their life but I do hope for a smooth ride. And no dating isn't a scandal, if he or any actor came out with dating news, good for them!
Be careful though, fame and money can change people. If he has a secret gf rn, best to say it now before it blows…
Your right, it isn't. But I mean more in terms of, if Dispatch or tabloids use his dating or whatever against him. As in, we'll leak that your dating X person (let's say someone who goes against his image), and have it torpedo his career. On your last comment, well...anyways its also because dude is now a hot rising star. He's getting a slew of offers in big projects, if he F ups, the potential we see for him will die.
