It used to be on Viki up to one year ago. I so regret not watching it then when I had the chance!

Now this is a drama I would've loved to have seen. Clearly you should've written this show lol!

Amazing! Heart, depth, and under-dog factor all tied into them baseball & the power struggle to acquire and create a winning team.

While also masterfully tying in the character journey of Baek Sung Soo. He is a steely and logistical character who achieves what he set out for and leaves with dignity and composure—the un-sung hero of Dreams.

This is a sweet comment. IA. The role was dark/weird which I don't mind. But the writing became too cliche, which was unfortunate. I wonder if tvN forced the writer to make some changes, to bring up ratings again. If so disappointing, tvN usually takes some risks too.

I feel you on the steam lol. I thought after their hot couch scene, things were going to rev up. But sadly, that was the extent to what we got. Not sure, if it was inside or outside forces. But I think the show could've made it spicier if our couple was pining for one another and a push-pull while also growing their relationship. Not sure what happened after the second half tbh, but it seems either the writer or director got shy and kinda made the show PG when it was PG-13 before.

I'm saying this in good faith, but if that's the fate she chooses to go towards. I'm afraid she'll be replaced by newer and younger talents, and her career won't recover.

I can't believe her so-called friends called her ugly. In Vogue Korea 2021, she called herself ordinary looking. Wondering if she could be an actress, and her friends told her they were surprised she was one. Smh.

Yep. It should've capitalized more on their relationship, and it would've been more engaging—a missed opportunity.

Haha, you pretty much described my thoughts. Like their skin-ship/intimate scenes were very nice, but it was the only time their relationship sizzled for me. I felt like they were awkward with one another, and PMY felt like she didn't want to kiss GKP lol. It was not consistent lol, like I didn't fully buy into it from PMY's end.

I think it was more like PMY had a trouble time adjusting to the nature of the show? It was darker/weirder role for her, so she might've been not as confident pulling off those scenes? Also, she was going through public turmoil with her dating life which affected her.

Un-usual chemistry? Like they had some decent kiss scenes, but something lacking too? Don't know why, maybe the actors had trouble with the romance scenes here? But something felt missing, but I still think if the show was stronger. Their chemistry could've been stronger.

Yeah, he kinda feels like a SML the more the show goes on. When the show's casting got known, KJY was first announced I believe. But its also confusing b/c Yoo Yeon Seok who is another known name was the first choice for Ji-ho. So I don't think he would get offered a 2nd ML at this point. But his story feels complete by Ep 10, now left is him supporting Sang-geun.

IA. Other than their hot make-out scene, I fail to see real sparks. I don't love them; I'm okay with their match-up. Also, having both characters feel distant due to prior experiences doesn't help. But I feel like both actors don't feel right together imho.

Same. Esp. since GKP's the veteran/plus already worked with the director previously. He did say he doesn't care about the size of the role, as long as its good. Which could mean he prob. doesn't care about his reduced screen-time, and the editors feel the 2nd ML has more 'popularity.'

Umm can I just say you mentioning Friday Night Lights gives you a plus? IA btw! Great show, and I think Kdramas need more sport based related dramas out there. There's a lot of stories to tell, and there's a lot there to it that's not about the sports but the people behind it, the struggles, the wins, and etc.

I think her character is the jack-of-all-trades type. But it feels like the roles she's played before, so it feels less fresh. For a drama, since it's not realistic, it's like, whatever. But in real life, no one like her can do it all/fake marry all these men. Most people like characters with minor setbacks, so we can see their progress. She's broken, though, so I think that part of hers is yet to come. But it's going to drag since not much happens.

I don't know about quitting yet. But I do have this feeling she will stop taking a project per year. She also seems like the type that once she settles down, she'll be more into being a mother/wife.

Rom-coms as 12 episodes would be perfect. PMY isn't an actress who will blow your socks off, but she does her job and that's it. But she's likable on screen which is why she still gets rom-com's.

In bts, they have a good rapport with one another. But I don't see any romantic vibes from either. They seem more like brother/sister in rl.

She was dating someone else at the time, so I don't think it was in the romantic sense. He's also someone who had whispers of dating rumors, so I think there just good actors. She did say his humor jived well with her during filming. Curious to see why you feel differently. Do you mean in the show or the bts clips?
