Exactly. That's why representation is important!! B/c that's how people's views or judgements form or change from that depiction. I do hope that in the future, autistic or disabled roles go to people with them in the future. More representation in all fields is when we can move/push further into a more progressive/kinder/inclusive society. I just hope the portrayal here is sensitive and understanding esp. since Korea isn't as well versed on autism.
Also, one up for Oh Yoo-na for showing her autistic child on television, and showing what a great parent she is for her child. She's an amazing woman, and also helping de-stigmatize those negative perceptions bit by bit.

I hope it turns out well for your sake :) But I'm a bit worried is the actor whose playing the autistic character said he watched/got his reference for his character from The Good Doctor. So I'm not sure, but it didn't seem like the actor researched as much as he could've? In Korea, I'm not sure if we're ready to have the conversation yet of actors playing autistic characters, its a tricky area. Altho I do hope that in the future, autistic roles can go more to autistic actors. (The great Anthony Hopkins is autistic!).
