Yes!! IA!! He's long been a great actor, but always in the shadows of his bigger co-stars. This is his time, the show is performing very well. Plus, its called Taxi Driver, so its based on his character, he's the one leading it all the way. So a Daesang awarded to him makes sense.

Honestly, SYJ working in China would be a kiss of death to her career. As Korea and China are going through culture wars rn. I think SYJ has to lay low, and in 1-2 yrs, come back and do an indie film(s). Perhaps, she might be lucky and pull a (Lee Jin Wook-far worse case) and come back. I mean, he's headlining a 40-50 million dollar tvN show. Like if he can come back, then SYJ should. I say, if she had a good relationship with a PD, I say, she has to hope that they remembered her fondly and give her a FL (SBS, KBS, or MBC) or the best bets before she can go back to cable. I say in 2-3 yrs. Kim Ah Joong was banned from TV for 3 yrs, for tax evasion and other stuff. And she came back after a while, but she did some films during that gap.

I can't believe all of this began b/c her ex was embroiled in a fight with their agency. Dispatch getting those texts are a privacy violation. Unfortunate, what has occurred. She's one of the most talented and gorgeous actresses working in Korea, but I feel like she'll have to take a while before coming back. A shame. I noticed her film is doing not bad in Korea rn, its #2 and might be #3 debut. So she might do indie films for a while, until she can come back to drama land again. Such a shame.

Honestly, she has a far bigger role than I thought. Seems like she was an upgrade in casting.

Ji Sung got the role in Kill Me, Heal Me as the second choice after Hyun Bin, and so on. It's not a bad thing, plus this is a big project that has potential to hit it big.

I just don't think PSH brings the chemistry that I would want to see with her and KNG. Just not my favorite actress. Ugh, I'm saddened, I really thought SYJ was perfect casting here. Blanking rn who has similar aura/vibes as SYJ. UGH.

Film land is more susceptible to scandals than drama land. Also LBH has a lot of power in Korea (Was Former Daewoo's CEO 'son') and he paid off/sued/lobbied to stop any of his rumors/stories from coming out. Also going off to Hollywood helped him too, as he had some value. Also he's a man.

If this was Hollywood, then it wouldn't be an issue. But yeah, for the sake of the drama, she had to drop off/taken off of whatever. It's unfortunate b/c the role was literally written for her. A shame truly.

He looks cute! It's part of OCN's film universe thing. I think it could be fun! Maybe not a huge success, but I think it'll do well.

No at PSH, please GOD NO!!! Kwon Nara is doing a big budget show for tvN. I think Moon Chae Won, Jeon Yeo Been, Soo Ae, and the likes would be good. Sighs, Seo Ye Ji girl, you would've killed it here. The role was even made for her. SMH.

You can thank the writer for that. Any show he writes, or the ones with huge ensembles. He makes sure to integrate them and give them scenes to pop. If I were an actor in his shows, I would be thrilled. The Fiery Priest cast all said this show gave them life and a career re-set again.

I think the case by case structure of Taxi Driver fits their arc more. Whereas in Vincenzo, its drawn out in a good way, b/c of how involved the FL/ML are in destroying the people behind those cases. Also I feel like Vincenzo has a bigger scale, better integration of actors, comedy, action, and that extra something that feels special. It feels distinct which I feel like with Taxi Driver, we see so many similar shows like that.

Jang Hyuk got nominated for Best Actor (International Emmy) in 2011. So Song Joong Ki could also have the same fate too! Seoul Drama International Awards and etc galore!!

Strange regarding the writer...I also noticed he didn't get any Baeksang noms for The Fiery Priest.

I so wish she got the Baeksang Best Supporting Actress nom too.
